Elijah, that little sly fox. He gave you an umbrella, with the umbrella he gave a cheeky grin. You knew what it meant, you both had corrupted minds. Why does everyone give you these looks when you're with a guy?

He only had one umbrella to use but he happily lend it to Katsuki.

"You ready?" Katsuki looked over his shoulder to you. You nod and glance back at Elijah, you didn't see him as you did before. When you used to have a crush on him, he seemed like a friend now.

"See you next time," you wave.

____________

Katsuki held the umbrella, he was taller than you by a bit so you easily got wet from the pouring rain. It didn't matter, the cold droplets were absorbed by your dull skin. You enjoyed the sight of rain.

"Who was he?" A sudden question emerges from Katsuki. You look at him while matching the pace he walked in.

"He was a friend in my hometown," you pause. Your features soften at the memories of the fun you had with him, your only true friend. "I kinda liked him too."
You hear laughing beside you and get annoyed by the audacity of insulting your likes and dislikes.

"I'm sorry," he said wiping a tear away. When he saw your seriousness he understood what he had done. "-uh, Oh. Um... you're not joking... I-I apologize." You reassure him it's alright even if it hurt you a little. The rain played music on the roof of the umbrella, bouncing to the rhythm it'd make.

Not long after he spoke again, "I think it'd be better if you wait off the rain. My house is closer by so we can get there faster."

"But I can just walk home, it's fine."

"No. It might start raining harder, I don't want you to walk through that." You couldn't argue with him, you'd probably leave after you reached his place. Instead, he slid the umbrella to you. "Here, don't get wet. I think if I hold it then you'd be soaked."

You grab it, the cane-like handle was black with a velvety texture. It was a beautiful umbrella, the rain was noticeable through the clear top of the umbrella. Simple but elegant, your favorite combination.

Loud rumbles come with a flash of light, sometimes blue and sometimes yellow. Katsuki and you talked while walking, invested in the conversation you found yourself unable to shut up about your family. You told him that you used your saved money to buy a ticket for your sister, about Sam always being there for you, about your mother finally being less harsh and realizing her wrongdoing, about Grandma Co and her amazing cookies, and you included Kia in your conversation. For the first time being able to freely express your love and hate relationship with Kia. You talk about how she tried giving you more control of her quirk for some reason.

He had been quiet for long, you look over to find him missing. Stepping back, you see him wet in the rain staring at his hands as they shook. You run over to him, fearful of his sudden change.

"KATSUKI!" He looked at you. Your eyes grew red like before, he couldn't hear you. Just murmured to himself.

"What are you saying?" Could he not hear you because of the lightning, they weren't too loud to make someone deaf. What was wrong with him? A blue bolt hits; after followed its loud thuds. He collapsed on the ground, rain flattening his spikey hair down. He shivered, leaving yourself vulnerable to the sky you hover the umbrella over him. Trying to comprehend what had happened unexpectedly.

"Katsuki, can you hear me?" You speak louder. He nodded unconsciously, his head low to the ground. He gasped as if in pain, what was his heart rate? You had to know. His clothing was too thick and the sky screamed loud, it didn't help you visualize his blood network without hearing it. You leaned down closer to him, blocking all other sounds around you to only focus on him.
