Idiots.

You had ran towards the blast and found three dumbasses trying to fight the villain that was on the news.

Shoto, Midoriya, and even Iida who you thought would be responsible for this situation. Midoriya was already paralyzed and Iida had taken a beating. Shoto was going to kill the villain along with himself so you knew you had to step in.

You fighting for so long already. Stain moved around so you couldn't use your manipulation right. You coughed and breathed heavily. Though you have recovered doesn't mean you should be running and jumping, even Endeavor didn't unleash hell on you since he knew about your injuries.

"Come on now," the villain spoke as your hands twitched trying to get up from the ground. "I thought all of you were going to fight me well. I guess you aren't meant to be 'heroes'."
He walked close to Shoto with his sword.

You had to stop him from licking his blood, but you weren't in a good state either.

Clang.

The silence was broken with loud metal. You were in between Shoto and Stain, his sword close to cutting your friend but you came in with your Kunai knife. His sword grazed your skin cutting deep enough for blood.

The villain retreated farther. That was your last knife and you tried to use it to stop him from licking the blood off his sword, only to fail. He laughed.

"Y/n," Midoriya said finally being able to move parts of his arm.

"Hmm... you have a blood quirk?" He spoke once you moved after him trying to paralyze you. He wasn't dead, the toxins in your blood network had vanished with Kia. "Seeing how you were trying to manipulate something, I guess I shouldn't stay in one place. That's your weakness, your quirk only is for defense purposes. You too are nothing special so I'll end you all quickly."

You feel the rush of power flowing through your veins but it wasn't yours. You shut your eyes tight focusing on that power that you could use to help save your friends.

In the brightening room, you face yourself with that same ruby stone. It floated in the air with an encapsulation, a barrier. It was just like before but had a crack on its barrier.

Power is the strongest when one's emotions are strong. If you have the will then you can break through anything and become unstoppable.

What Kia told you before leaving. Was your will the reason for that dent?

------

The rush came to you. Her feelings, her memories. With little effort, you could feel the blood and concentrate on it. You try imagining a sword. Something sharp and long, as you wished the blood created it under your fingers just like Kia would make weapons.

It was hard to do it and took some time. When you opened your eyes you could feel it. Red glowing orbs. Along with it came an unfamiliarly familiarly feeling, the intent of killing, and the feeling of no hesitation.

So this is what Kia felt when she would be in control.

You focus on the villain's baffled face after seeing your strength. The others stood in shock too. You run and try using the sword on him, he moved quickly and swiftly. Like fencing, you tried swinging at him. It seemed foolish, like a little girl trying to swing a sword but if anyone knew swordsmanship like Kia then they would know you were aiming for Stain's vital spots.

"Stop," he huffed. "Stop, just need some air."
Unfortunately for him, Midoriya took him out from the back. Finally allowing you to relax your flexed muscles and clenched jaw.

_______

The pros took care of Stain after he blacked out. All of you got scolded for your reckless actions. Your hair was a mess, strands coming out of your tied-back hair. In the fight, your jacket fell off your shoulders.

"Here," Shoto's voice called behind you. Your black jacket was in his possession. You grab it.

"Thanks."

"I should say that since you helped us out," you disagreed with that statement. You couldn't rest knowing your friends were fighting a villain from the news. "I also that you wouldn't want to see me."

That must have been the reason why he avoided you during your training despite being at the same agency.
"You shouldn't think like that. I don't resent you, it was never your fault."
He grinned a little and stopped once he saw his father behind you.

"Nice job Y/n," Endeavor said. "Your powers are really strong."
You felt a little ill after hearing his words.

"Y/n." You turn to face the large figure. Yellow-orange-tinted eyes with a scar on his nose and his white hair down to freely flow.
He ran over grabbing you with a concerned look. "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Tell me what happened? Your hair and eyes are different too. Have you been taking care of yourself?"

Questions go through your ears without being comprehended. He hugged you tightly, it was the first time and without gloves. You could feel his warm hands gripping you, the unknown sensation of being hugged with bare hands was uneasy. You had lost the chance to hold anyone and regretted not being grateful for it. Now you were finally able to feel him without hurting him. You grabbed the back of his black shirt and buried your face into his chest. Tears streaming down as you tried to hold them back.

It was stupid. Crying over finally being able to touch someone and hug them, but you learned over the time of losing such abilities that it was too precise. You drowned yourself in the sensation like getting high on drugs but it was the purest of its kind.

He whispered, "you're okay now. I'm here." He was touching deep into your feelings like never before. All the things you hide even when Dabi confronted your old habits of hiding yourself. It became harder to cover up those feelings after Kia left but Sam was only making it worse. His words were doves flying through a clear sky. Finally giving you peace in that battlefield of a mind with all the incidents adding more to your problems.
"You've been strong. You've been working hard and trying your best. And I really truly am sorry that I couldn't say those things before and I regret not telling you how special you are. I want you to know you are always safe with me. I'm so proud of you."

You grip his t-shirt more firmly hearing him speak. It only made you cry more realizing how badly you'd wanted to hear those words. You craved for the same affection others would get but you were only faced with neglect by both parents. You thought Sam would be the same, he wasn't though. You realized you couldn't push your reality aside and you realized because of the people surrounding you. They taught you to stop running and hiding and they probably don't know it either.
