Dinner With the Fishers

Y/n's POV:

It's been about a week since I helped April and Barren unbox their stuff for their house. I have also grown closer to the both of them. I'm starting to flirt more with April, but she pushes me away and try's to ignore it. I'm not fazed by that at all, I see the blushing, and the glances every so often, and the smiling half the time. My mom, my dad, and I are getting ready for a late night dinner with the Fishers so my parents can get to know them as much as I know them

"Honey! We are about to leave!" my mom yells from downstairs

"Okay!" I yell back taking one last look at my outfit in the mirror. It's a black mock turtleneck, brown and black plaid dress pants, and my white air force one's. I leave my hair down, add some jewelry, and spray on some cologne

"Looking sharp kiddo." my dad says making me smile

"Thanks dad you too, and mom you look wonderful." I say walking over and kissing her on the cheek. She smiles "Ready?" I ask

"Trying to look good for your date?" my mom asks as we get in the car. We decided on just meeting each other at the restaurant since the Fishers had to go run some errands

"It's not a date if you guys and Barren are there." I clarify

"Well then when are you going to take her on a date?" my dad asks

"Oh my God, we just met, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't want someone so young." I say only believing somewhat of what I said. They nod and stay quiet, finally. Every time I go over to the Fishers they won't shut up about it. My parents act like I'm in middle school and just got a crush or something and tease me about it all the time.

We arrive at a fancy ass looking restaurant. I almost feel underdressed. We get out and I text April

"Oh hey guys!" April says and sits next to me with Barren on her side

"I guess you're not to bad yourself." she says, making me smirk. I see her look away to talk to my parents but a slight smile forms as she turns away. I turn to Barren who is swinging his feet and watching them

"How have you been little man?" I ask "Looking sharp." I say noticing he is wearing a black button up and khaki pants with white converse

"I'm good, I've been having fun hanging out with mom. Thanks!" he says smiling, he is such a mommas boy

"Oh really? What have y'all been doing?" I ask

"Watching movies, going out to eat and to arcades, stuff like that." he explains, I nod

"That does sound like fun." I say and we get called to our table. I walk behind April with Barren on the side of me and my parents leading. I glance down at Aprils ass swaying back and forth, almost in a teasing manner. As if she knows I would look.
