College Day One

Y/n's POV:

I take one last deep breath in of Aprils sent, I'm going to miss her so much. I pull away from the hug and remember I have a gift for her. I open my passenger door and grab the nicely folded hoodie that was doused in my cologne moments before

"Here, it's one of my favorites and it will be big on you. So, you will be able to cuddle with it at anytime." I say handing the hoodie to April who has tears streaming down her cheeks, making me tear up myself

"Thank you, baby." she says with a sad smile and one last hug. I hug my parents for the last time, until a little while. I fist bump Barren and place a forehead kiss on April before she brings me down for a real kiss. I wipe her cheeks of the tears and get in my car. Going to miss them. I smile and wave then drive off, but I'll be back for Thanksgiving and Christmas and any other breaks we get. I will take advantage of those breaks to come see my family. I just hope Tom says clear of Aprils house. I don't want to have to drive all the way back here just to fuck him up, then drive back.

I finally arrive at The University of California, Los Angeles. I texted the group chat to let them know I was here. They said they would be waiting at the front for me. I grabbed my back pack with the most important things I need and headed inside. I got a few stares from girls and occasional winks or a wave. I ignored them and went on. I got my dorm key and number, then being dog piled on by the losers I call friends

"What took you so long Y/n?" Amelia asks, Anthony then crosses his arms smirking

"Probably a goodbye fuck with April." he says, I punch his shoulder and shake my head

"No that's not what happened, I was just taking me time. Oh and Valerie, Barren says he's going to miss you too and that you are really beautiful." I say smiling, remembering when Barren gave me a hug he told me to tell Valerie that

"Ooo! Someone's got a little kid crushing on them!" we all tease Valerie and she just walks away flipping us off

"It's okay, we know that hallway dude has your heart now." Anthony says, I turn my face to him as they walk with me to my dorm

"Oh, Val ran into this guy in the hall and he was really nice and sweet and you know how Val is." Amelia explains, pointing out the fact that Valerie catches feelings easily. I make it to my dorm, they all wait behind me as I unlock it.
