April's POV:

Jasmine and I are still catching up on what has happened in the past month when there is a familiar knock on the door

"Come in!" I yell from the living room

"Are you going to check who it is?" Jasmine asks and I smile then nod behind her. Barren and Y/n stand there with food in their hands

"Uh if I would have know you'd have company I would got her something too." Y/n says setting the food on the counter and getting two boxes out "Good thing I got a bigger box for you, m'lady. Y'all can share if you'd like." she says walking over to Jasmine and I. Jasmine just sits their shocked making me giggle

"Thank you, Y/n. This is my best friend Jasmine." I say, Jasmine stands up and shakes Y/n's hand still in shock, I think

"How in the hell did April pull you?" Jasmine says making Y/n chuckle and I face palm myself. I open the box of chicken from Canes and start eating

"Hey I'm not that bad." I say, Y/n looks at me and smiles making my insides turn to mush. She's so cute

"Yeah, she's not too bad." Y/n says shrugging, Jasmine looks over at Barren and they go off in their own little conversation. Y/n sits next to me putting her hand on my thigh

"How was your day?" she asks watching me eat

"It was good, Jasmine and I caught up on the stuff that has happened in the past month. And it was nice to have some other company that is closer to my age." I explain, she nods "How was your and Barrens hangout?" I ask closing the box of food, saving it for Jasmine

"Great, yeah. He his a pro golfer, like for real. He got over half of them in one shot. And uh..." she pauses and looks down at her hand on my thigh, and starts rubbing her thumb back and forth "We had an incredible bonding moment." she smiles, I melt at the words. And start to tear up. I lean back against the couch and Y/n takes her hand off my thigh, wrapping it around my waist pulling me closer to her

"Why are you crying?" she asks with a small giggle, she wipes my tears with her other hand

"Because you're just so incredible." I say and look up at her

"Well, I wouldn't say that. I'm just a kind hearted person." she says smiling

"Well you are." I say, cuddling into her more. I wrap my arms around her body and cuddle her side. Her hand goes around my back and rests on the side of my upper thigh. Barren sees us cuddling and smirks. I roll my eyes, Y/n didn't see him because she's on her phone. Which I'm glad she didn't

"Well, I'm going to head out." Jasmine says, I start to get up, but Jasmine stops me "You look to comfortable, it's fine. I'll talk to ya later boo." she says and walks out the door

"I'm going to my room." Barren says

"Okay, I hope you had fun today." I say watching him make his way upstairs

"I did, it's Y/n. Like come on, of course you're going to have fun." he says the disappears from view

"I love that little guy." Y/n says putting her phone down

"Oh, me too." I say and we stay in the position we are in for a couple minutes

"Uhm, so, Barren said something and I don't want to intrude, but he mentioned someone named Tom." she says, I sigh. I knew this was bound to come and I would have to tell her at some point. But I just wasn't thinking right now. Should I tell her?
