Aether sat at his table, grabbing his hair brush and running it down his long knotted hair. Small little snores could be heard from his sleeping boyfriend so Aether tied his best to stay quiet.
Once he finished brushing his hair, he checked his clothes and fixed up his necklace and earrings. He quickly grabbed his bag and carefully left the room.
The blonde walked out to see Xiao cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Good morning Xiao!"
"Mm Morning"
Xiao plated the food and and set it down for Aether
"Did you sleep well?"
Aether sat down and stabbed the food with his fork. Xiao sat opposite him and started eating as well
"Yeah, I slept quite well. How about you?"
"Mm same, felt weird without Venti but it was fine I guess"
Xiao was a lot more monotone and he seemed to be pretty tired so Aether didn't disturb him anymore. Once both boys finished their food, Xiao washed the dishes then disappeared into his room while Aether sat outside waiting for Albedo
Albedo soon arrived to pick up Aether to accompany him to the filming site
"Alright Fischl and Mona! Take your places please!!"
Albedo lead Aether out behind the camera as the girls walking into frame
"Oz reveal thyself!! With your midnight wings of darkness, defend our humble abode!"
A blonde girl with a black dress summoned a dark purple raven and the lighting changed to a darker tone. The girl standing just behind her surrounded herself with a ring of hydro energy
"Allow me to assist you Prinzessin!!"
"Gladly!"
She covered herself in water and suddenly appeared beside the blonde, the two actresses fought with their electro and hydro visions respectively as the filming director sat behind the camera with a satisfied smile
"Alright, CUT!! Well done you both, a splendid performance as always!"
"Thank you!!"
They both bowed and walked of the set going straight towards Aether and Albedo with friendly smiles on their faces
"Ah!! You must be the special guests we were told about!"
The taller of the two girls quickly tied her hair into two high twin tails as she smiled at the two boys
"I'm Mona! This is my girlfriend and co-worker, Fischl"
"Those don't sound like Liyuen names..."
Aether softly mumbled to himself but Fischl overheard him and responded with a small giggle
"We're from Mondstadt but we're in Liyue for work"
Albedo looked around then focused his attention back onto the two actresses
"When is Aether's filming going to start?"
Fischl shrugged but Mona seemed to have somewhat of an answer.
"The director said that he should be starting his scenes after lunch, it's currently 8 so you have 4 hours to get ready"
Albedo nodded and smiled at Aether
"I need to go back to the company building but I'll be back to come pick you up. If there's anything you need then message me and I'll try my best to help"
His aqua eyes blazed into Aether's, carrying along a strong sense of trust. The idol gave his manager a reassuring smile
"Of course Albedo, don't worry about me. You already have a lot to do"
He sighed and nodded
"Thank you Aether, I've been really stressed lately but I will still keep up with my job so make sure you do your best in this"
And with that, he left the venue. Then Aether was led to one of the preparation rooms by Fischl while Mona ran to find the stylist.
"Here's your room, you'll be playing as one of our sidekicks... kinda? Hm, I didn't get much info on your role but I know you'll be a lead supporting role. Pretty big for your first time"
She pulled out a chair for him and rushed to go find Mona. Once she came back, Mona appeared along with a brunette following behind.
"Aether this is the stylist for this movie, Amber"
"Good Morning! Wow-"
Her dark brown eyes blinked at Aether and smiled brightly as she placed her hands onto her hips
"The camera definitely didn't do your looks justice, you're much more handsome in person Aether!"
"I- uh... thank you...?"
She just laughed then started rummaging through the line of clothes. While Amber was busy with that, Mona and Fischl started chatting with Aether
"So this is your first time acting?"
Mona pulled out a chair in front of Aether while asking
"Mhm, what's the movie about?"
"It's about an outlander, Mona, who arrives in the Dragon Kingdom of Volcanica as an outlander. As the name of the Kingdom suggests, there's a dragon that's supposed to protect its people but it's turned against the city. So the current ruler, me, is trying to stop it."
Mona sighed and rested her head on her hands
"It kinda started as a typical romance where I see Fischl and be like 'Oh ma god she's gorgeous'. Y'know, that kinda stuff"
"Hey Aether can you come over here? I need to see what will look good on you..."
Amber called Aether over and started holding up different sets of clothes. After a while of messing around with it, she finally found something right
Aether changed into the clothes and walked out to let Amber check him over. (It's kinda like what's in the header image djdjkcjdjxkd)
"It looks perfect!! Alright now for your hair, Mona will help with that."
Aether sat in front of a mirror and Mona stood behind him. She quickly styled his hair into a loose braid, slipping in a few hair clips to accessorise.
"Alright, done! You look really nice"
Aether stood up and smiled
"Thank you! What time it is now?"
"Mm, it's only 9:20. I think we can get Aether a tour of the set, then we'll eat an early lunch and begin filming?"
Mona thought carefully about Fischl's suggestion but quickly nodded
"Sounds good, let's go!"
