Boy group Lovers~ A Xiaoven + Kazuther Idol AU

Explanations

Imma just explain some of the main producing roles they have. I'll also be clarifying how I chose their positions and ages just because why not :)

~Main Producing~

Lyrics:
Aether and Xiao mainly work on composing lyrics. Aether keeps a notebook with all their ideas and rough drafts while Xiao is the one the branches off the main idea and comes up with the lyrics.
Though Aether and Xiao mostly take care of the lyrics but Venti and Kazuha do take part in writing lyrics from time to time

Music:
Producing tracks mainly goes to Venti, he gets some assistance from the other three members but he also works with some of the producing staff in BLOOM ent.
Xiao and Aether really only help with their outsiders perspective, so they help make little adjustments. On the other hand, Kazuha helps with the actual editing and producing.
Either way, most of the music production is handed off to Venti

Dance:
As the main dancers of the group, Kazuha and Xiao take care of the choreography. Though with Xiao mostly busy with the lyrics, Kazuha is usually responsible for the dance.
Venti is not to be allowed in the making of any choreography. Under any circumstances, never let Venti choreograph dances.

~Positions~

Aether: Leader, Rapper, Lead Vocalist and Lead dancer
I choose Aether to be Leader because comparatively, he would make the best leader. I've seen other people say it could've been Xiao or Venti but I didn't think Xiao would really fit well as the leader. As for Venti, I was thinking that it was more of Venti didn't want the responsibility.
It's like how in-game he doesn't really do anything as an archon XD
To me, Aether is pretty much an all-rounder. He's abilities aren't the best in the group but as a lone member, he can reach the idol standards.
With this reasoning, I did change up his roles a little bit from what I originally thought of. I'd say most of his lines will be singing but he will rap in some songs ^^

Xiao: Sub-vocalist, Main rapper and Main dancer
Now for Xiao I immediately knew to make him Main rapper and Main dancer. He just kinda gives off that vibe to me XD
I believe watched a video on Xiao's character creation and I remember hearing that his actions are fluid and sharp, which made me think of dancing ^^'
As for the Sub-vocal role, I did think of maybe changing him to be a vocalist but I feel like it wouldn't suit him. I imagine his singing abilities aren't horrible and he can be a vocalist but comparatively, his vocal capabilities aren't the best in the group.

Venti: Main vocal, Center and Sub-rapper
Of course our favourite bard has to have the main vocal role <3
I immediately knew that was going to be his position. As for Center, I just thought he would be able to catch the most attention. I guess Aether could also fit the bill but Venti suits the role more ^^
The Sub-rapper was also a change, his rapping abilities are somewhat akin to Xiao's singing abilities? He can rap but he's not the best ^^'
If you read the positions before I changed them, you may remember that Venti also had the role as the 'Face of the Group'. My interpretation of the role means that they are the visual/most recognisable in the group. That made me feel strange because all the boys have their own unique charms so I just got rid of the position entirely ^^

Kazuha: Lead rapper, Main dancer and Vocalist
I was kinda torn on his roles but in the end I decided these positions fit him the best.
Have you seen how fluid he is with all his attacks??? He's so smooth and so *chefs kiss* He makes me wanna pull for him :')
ANYWAYS- as I was saying... his attacks in-game look so smooth and flawless which made me give him the Main dancer position. As for Lead rapper and Vocalist, I didn't really have any insight for that ^^'
Idk it just felt right :p

~Ages~

Now here is where I kinda want to branch off and explain my choices for the other idol groups so just bear with me <3

Just for a bit of my thought process, I knew that I had to decide on 4NEMO's ages first because well... they are the main characters XD
So everyone else's ages were built off that. I also took into account all their in-game ages :>

4NEMO:
I did explain my choices for the age order to someone in the comments but didn't explain the actual numbers ^^'
So for the age order, Venti is the oldest at 2500+ years old in-game. Xiao is 2000+ and Aether (Traveler) is speculated to be 500+. Knowing that, I kinda just guessed that Kazuha is a normal human, therefore meaning that he would be the youngest of the four, regardless of his actual age.
As for the actual numbers... I first decided that I wanted Kazuha to be 18. Idk why but I just wanted him to be finishing up secondary school :p (I guess it's called high school in some places? Idk I never researched ;-;)
After that I kinda just built off that. Aether is one year older being 19, Xiao is just a little older being 20 and then Venti the grandpa at 22 <3

L/YUE:
I was kinda just going off the fact that they were 4NEMO's seniors-
I didn't want to age gap to be too big because I wanted Ganyu to be an older sister figure to Xiao. I might do something akin to that with Kazuha and Beidou but we'll see <3
Keqing is speculated to be 18-20 so... 22 :p
Ganyu is 3000+ so she gets 25, Beidou is a strange one because from what I've read, she's speculated to be 21-27?? Like yeah I know there's not much know about her but I would've liked a smaller range-
I've always seen her as someone younger then Ningguang so I made Beidou 23 and Ning 24 :3

TVT DREAM:
LITERAL BABIES🥺🥺🥺
I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself :(
Razor and Bennett are 16 in-game while Xingqiu and Chongyun are 17. Sooo I made Razor the baby and left it there <3 (do I really need to explain more...?)

Lumine:
Yes I'm keeping the fact that she and Aether are twins so she was pretty easy to give her age ;-;

DCKZ:
So this is another group that I sort of explained? Someone in the comments flipped out so I gave a smol explanation :3
So being the same generation as the L/YUE girls, I tried to make them sort of the same age
Childe is babie so he gets gifted 23 <3
Diluc and Kaeya are the same age so they are both 25 and then the actual grandpa of the game, Mr. Zhongli gets 26 :D

Idol Sisters:
Idk whut this duo is but I just wanted to include our favourite deaconess idol Barbara <3
Their ages were quite simple XD
Barbara would be the same age and Kazuha and Razor while her sister is just 3 years older :p
