22.5 [ Solo Activities: Winter ]

The door opened and a very tired looking Venti stepped inside with his luggage behind him.

"Heya I'm back"

Xiao immediately dropped his controller and ran over to help his exhausted boyfriend. Picking up his bags and lifting them into the room, Aether quickly went to pour a cup of water for the older.

Venti slumped into the couch and Kazuha gently rubbed his hand

"Welcome back Venti, how was Mondstadt?"

"Peaceful as always, it was a joy to be back at home..."

Aether came out of the kitchen and placed the cup of water on the little coffee table for Venti. Xiao emerged out of his room not after and settled down next to Venti, letting the older snuggle with him.

Xiao gently brushed Venti's fringe off of his eyes and planted a kiss on his forehead

"Do you wanna do anything Ven?"

"Noo... I just wanna sleep..."

Xiao looked down to see Venti already falling asleep so he decided to just go to sleep since he had an early day of practicing tomorrow.

"Alright then, let's go. Goodnight you two"

Aether said goodnight and Kazuha nodded in acknowledgment as Xiao scooped Venti up and carried him into their bedroom. (Pls don't take that out of context, I'm really trying my best here ;-;)

Xiao set Venti down and let him organise the stuff in his luggage. He took out his nightwear and threw it on his bed, Xiao changing into his own. Once they were both changed, Venti switched off the lights then dragged Xiao with him and lay down, cuddling underneath the warm blanket

"Sorry that I'm so tired, today was a rough day..."

Xiao opened his eyes to see Venti pouting slightly. He reached up to cup Venti's cheek and gave him a small kiss.

"No worries, I understand. Just rest now"

Venti snuggled into Xiao's chest, the younger male wrapping his arms around his lovers waist. They were both just happy to be in each other's embrace after a whole 5 days of being affection deprived.

The sunlight shone through the windows and Xiao's eyes slowly fluttered open. He quickly reached out to grab his phone and checked the time, not worried about accidentally waking up Venti in the process

"7:08..."

He softly muttered to himself as he slowly sat up. He was about to get off the bed when a small pair of arms weakly pulled him back down

"Mmm... don't leave me yet..."

Xiao looked around to see Venti still with his eyes closed but his arms were wrapped around Xiao's waist.

"Venti, I have to go practice for tomorrow"

He opened his eyes and frowned a bit

"I don't want you to leave..."

"Wanna come down to the practice room with me then?"

Xiao could see Venti's eyes lit up at the idea as he sat up again. This time Venti didn't pull him back down but instead got up and took a big stretch

"I'll go wash up first then I'll wait for you"

Venti nodded and Xiao went into the bathroom, after washing his face and brushing his teeth he went back into his room. Venti went to go wash up as Xiao quickly got changed into his usual practice clothes.

Venti came back in a Xiao left him to get ready. He went to the kitchen a filled up a bottle of water and grabbed a small pack of crackers to munch on. Venti emerged from the room and they immediately left for the practice room.

While walking, Xiao was still eating his pack of crackers and Venti quickly stole one to eat. Xiao was about to say something just as they reached the practice rooms. He opened the door and threw away the empty wrapper as Venti flicked on the lights

"So what will you be practicing?"

Xiao walked to the computer a plugged in his phone to the speaker

"My debut song and another dance I choreographed yesterday."

Venti sat down on the couch after shutting the door as Xiao started playing the music

He got into position and started going over the dance for his debut song. Venti was mesmerised by his dancing, it was almost as if Xiao had put him in a trance. Once the music ended, Venti gave a bit of applause and Xiao chuckled

"It's not like you haven't seen that before, it's just my debut song"

"Well yeah but you're dancing is amazing it never gets old!!"

Xiao went back to the computer and replayed some of the parts to practice. After 30 minutes of just working on improving his debut song, he moved on to the second song.

The song played from the speakers and Xiao marked the steps making Venti very curious to what the actual dance looked like. Once Xiao finished going over what he choreographed yesterday, he replayed the song and prepared to actually do it properly.

When he did, Venti couldn't keep his eyes off Xiao. The way his arms and legs coordinated perfectly with each beat and each step was just so perfect to him. The song ended and Venti jumped up, throwing himself onto Xiao.

"Er me gerddddd that was amazing!!!!"

Xiao laughed and gently pat Venti's head

"Thank you, but you do have a bit of a bias towards me"

Venti gave Xiao a squishy smile and wrapped his arm's around Xiao's torso. Even though Xiao was almost dripping in sweat, Venti didn't really care anymore.

Their lips pressed together and they connected a soft, loving kiss. Their lips moved in sync as Xiao tilted his head slightly to deepen to kiss. They parted for breath and Venti rest his head on Xiao's shoulder

"I'm gonna go back to the dorm so that I don't bother you while you're practicing, I'll see you later"

Venti pressed a kiss on Xiao's cheek before moving to kiss him on the lips one more time

"I love you Xiao!"

"Love you too Venti"

Djcjsjjcjdjf my favourite genshin content creator had a seven hour stream and I stayed up until 3 T-T
That was 5 hours and she kept streaming for another two hours 0-0
I tried to stay up but I kinda just died :p

ANYWAYSSSS new chapter and it's the last of the solo activities arc ^^' (idk whether this can be called an arc O.o)
