"Aether hurry up!! We're gonna be late!!!"

"Alrighttt coming comingggg"

Aether tumbled out of his room and grabbed Kazuha's hand

"Oke let's go!!"

Venti clung onto Xiao as they walked out, meeting Albedo at the car outside the building

"Ah, you're all here. The event starts at 10am and Xiao need to get there at 9. We have about an hour left so would you like to go early?"

Venti and Aether rapidly nodded in excitement and went into the car while Kazuha and Xiao followed behind. Once they were all seated, Albedo got into the front seat and they made their way to the venue

Once they arrived, it was already bustling with people. They got out of the car and went into the preparation rooms

"Ah! Xiao!!"

A staff member called out and Xiao turned around

"Did you need something?"

She shook her head and smiled

"Just surprised to see you so early, we only needed to start your preparations at 9"

"Mm, well my groupmates wanted to go take a look at the set. Would that be okay?"

She nodded with a smile

"Of course! Just don't break anything alright?"

She quickly ran off and Venti's eyes sparkled

"I've never been to a sports event before!!"

"That's because you're so lazy. Even doing a warm up before dancing is tiring to you"

"Xiaooo!!! Kazuha's bullying me!!!"

Xiao sighed and Aether burst out laughing

"Venti, you're such a child. Plus, you're pretty easy to bully"

The oldest pouted and hid behind Xiao. He took Venti's hand in his own and pulled him away

"Come on, let's go look around"

"Okay, we'll come back here right before 9!!"

Xiao looked back to see Aether and Kazuha walking away together. Venti then lightly squeezed his hand to grab his attention.

"So where do you wanna go?"

Xiao began walking and hummed as he thought about how to answer Venti's question.

"Maybe I could show you where I'm going to perform?"

"Ooo yes let's go!!"

Xiao chuckled and walked to the end of the corridor. He opened the door which led out to the field.

The venue wasn't too big but the was a platform which Xiao guessed was where he was supposed to perform. He and Venti went onto the platform and Xiao did a tiny mark up of the spacing.

"You're gonna do that dance you choreographed?"

Venti sat at the edge of the platform, looking up at his boyfriend. Slowly watching as Xiao mentally went over the dance.

"Mm... yea I am, why?"

"Just asking"

Xiao sighed and sat down beside Venti, letting his head rest on his shoulder. Venti wrapped one arm around Xiao's waist and the other took his hand.

"Next week is gonna be back to group promotions..."

"Hopefully we just a rest day tomorrow, I would like to just spend some time with you. Y'know, without stressing over performances"
