"Ready to go?"

Xiao glanced at Venti before nodded towards the staff

"Xixi, are you still going to do that one-handed cartwheel?"

"Yeah I am, why?

Venti's eyes sparkled and Xiao already kinda guessed his answer

"It's been so long since I've seen you do that kinda thing so I am excited!"

Xiao chuckled and gently pat Venti on the head

"Alright Ven, you start on the other side. It'll make more sense for what we practiced"

Right as the staff came to tell them to get ready, Venti ran off to head to the other side of the stage. The staff looked at Xiao and nodded

"Ready?"

Xiao quickly checked over the mic he held and smiled

"All set to go"

"Alright, you'll go on soon"

Xiao nodded then a few moments later, he heard the announcer speaking

"So how was that game? It was so exciting to could fall off my chair!! Well let's not fall off our chairs yet because we have another guest performer coming up! Give it up for Xiao and Venti of 4NEMO!!!!"

Xiao took a deep breath and the music started. He ran up onto stage and did his cartwheel. He heard Venti running onto stage as well and started off his lines.

As they had practiced, Xiao and Venti danced around each other. Switching positions and still managing to get all the lines in. Then comes the scary part...

The dance break

Xiao had decided to freestyle it but Venti's part would be first. The instrumental was deliberately not as upbeat as Xiao's part as Venti doesn't specialise in dance. Xiao got into his position and nervously watched as the music started to roll into Venti's section

Venti felt the whole stadium looking straight at him. He had never felt so nervous for a performance before. Venti carefully recalls the steps and quickly catches the music at the right moment. His steps were light yet still sharp while hitting every beat. Even Aether's obnoxious cheering couldn't be heard anymore

Then the music transitioned to a quicker beat and Xiao prepared himself for the freestyle. His movements flowed together well as if he had been practicing it for months. At that moment, nobody questioned why Xiao had the position of main dancer.

After the dance break and one last chorus, the song was over. The loud applause from the audience filled the silence left by the speakers and Venti smiled at Xiao from his ending pose.

Venti held up the mic to his mouth and smiled brightly. His smile was so bright Xiao swore he went blind because of it

"Hello everyone!! Not expecting a dance from me right?"

The crowd continued to cheer as Xiao started speaking, his voice deeper then ever

"I'm glad you all enjoyed it, I'm really happy to finally be able to perform this song. Even if it's only once, I'm overjoyed to have you all see and enjoy the performance"

Venti took over the talking as Xiao was visibly getting depleted of oxygen and needed to take a breather

"Okayyy we don't have much time to talk but is there something you all would like me to do for you? Like I dunno... sing a song maybe?"

"SING A VERSE OF YOUR DEBUT SONG!!!!"

Venti sniffled a giggle and nodded

"Oke!"

He started singing as Xiao went to pick up his and Venti's water bottles. The second his boyfriends voice hit his ears, he halted all movements. All his attention was focused on Venti's calm, angelic vocals

After he was done, they said a few ending words and left the stage to go backstage

"XIAO, VENTI IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!"

Aether came tumbling into the older two and Kazuha could be heard laughing behind his boyfriend

"Control yourselves, we don't want to hurt ourselves"

Aether smiled and helped both Venti and Xiao up

"Well our solo activities are over... hopefully our career goes smoothly"

Genuinely I really wanted to finish this story at 30 chapters but while writing this chapter I lost everything I had with this story-

I'm so so sorry for everyone who was looking forward to this story T^T
