a/n: this is just a hot take. all this drama is honestly so dumb tbh. now there's fan pages on twitter spreading lies..... just make sure you guys are fact checking.....
I knocked softly on Billies apartment door. I heard soft footsteps approaching, then a pause. Billie cracked the door and as I entered she made her way back to her bedroom. I placed the bags i bought next to the door and slipped off my shoes.
"Billie?" I called. No answer. I slowly made my way to the kitchen and pulled out a cup and plate. I quickly placed the food on the plate and made my way to her bedroom. I knocked softly. Again, no answers. I pushed open the door slowly and saw a mountain of blankets. "Billie, I got you some food." I whispered.
"Not hungry." she sighed.
I frowned and made my way over to the bed. I pulled back the covers. She was curled into a tight ball. "At least talk to me? It's not good to keep things bottled up." I said. "No. You'll just hate me like everyone else." she sighed. I looked at her confused. "What?" I asked. "I'm your best friend. I could never hate you." I said sitting next to her. She shifted her weight. "The whole world seems to have me figured out." she said. I chuckled softly. "Yeah but they also like to find drama." I said. She hummed. "I just didn't think I would be the one to get into drama." she sighed. "I tried to stay out of it." she groaned. "Which part are you talking about?" I asked. "All of it." she said. "Well. You don't owe anyone an explanation on your sexuality. No one can force you to come out. People often forget that celebrities also need privacy. You were never one to talk about your life. Your family, friends, and love interests were always private. People just decided to paint what they wanted you to be and are mad because you aren't giving them what they want." I said. She watched me talk and sat in silence. "You already addressed the usage of slurs. But honestly I feel like they're just trying to reach for something concrete at this point." I laughed. "I'm just upset I called them embarrassing." She sighed. "You were upset. But again you apologized." I sighed. "Honestly. Your haters or the people who don't really like you, whatever, took this misunderstanding and ran with it." I said. She turned to face me. "I'm really glad you're my friend." she whispered. I smiled softly. "Cancel culture is toxic. It doesn't help society like they think it does. People over reacted. Not to mention are trying to force you to come out." She looked down at her hands.I sat with billie for a while. She finally reached for the plate and ate quietly. "Thank you." she said after a while. "No need to thank me." I said. "Now come. Let's go watch a movie." I smiled. She nodded and followed me to the living room.
a/n: i will not tolerate any negativity in the comments. you will be reported and blocked. Also, This is my opinion. The whole queer baiting thing is kinda dumb. I don't get any bad feelings from it and honestly, if she is straight, why can't she "love women" in an empowering way? like feminism? (i'm gay so don't try and do the whole 'well it's not your place to tell queer people
how they feel'). the alleged bf who's a racist... idk. i don't have enough info to touch on that 🤷🏻♀️. idk. i just feel like she's 19 and she has a lot to figure out. Everyone makes mistakes. we're all human.
