A/n: sorry about this!
Your relationship with Billie always seemed better when she was on tour and you were missing each other like crazy. When Billie was home though, it didn't take long for arguments to break out.
"So you're not coming home tonight?" You asked. "No. I'll be home tommorrow morning." Billie said. You sighed. "Fine. It's not like I haven't seen you in six months or anything." You said. She scoffed. "I haven't seen my bros in seven!" You rolled your eyes. "Whatever." You said hanging up. You texted Claudia and she FaceTimed you almost immediately. "Hey goober!" She laughed. "Hi." You said. You saw Finneas pop into the frame. "Yo y/n! Come over to Claudia's. We're making cookies." He smiled. "Yeah. Come over!" She smiled. "Okay." You sighed. You got up and grabbed your keys and slipped on your slides. "Be there in 20 minutes." You said. "Okay. Bye! Be safe!" Claudia yelled.
You knocked on Claudia apartment door and you heard running footsteps. Finneas opened the door and engulfed you into a big bear hug. "I miss you!" He said. "At least one of the O'Connells missed me." You mumbled under your breath. "Here. You should drink this. It always makes you happy!" Claudia said handing you a small glass of wine. You could smell cookies as you hugged her. You plopped down onto the couch. Finneas frowned. You had known Billie and Finneas your whole life. You practically grew up together. "Sorry Billie is being such a booty hole." Finneas frowned. You shrugged. "This always happens though! I shouldn't be surprised." Claudia sat a plate of cookies down on the coffee table and sat next to you. You sipped your wine and grabbed a cookie. "Sorry to crash your guys reunion." You said. Finneas looked at you confused. "We got home yesterday." Your jaw dropped. "You're kidding." You said. Finneas shook his head. "I thought she was with you last night?" Claudia asked. You shook your head. The room fell silent. You were mad. Thought of Billie cheating filled your mind. "Why are we even together if she doesn't even want to see me." You sniffled. Claudia wrapped her arms around you. "I don't know y/n. But let's not think about that right now. Why don't you talk to her tommorrow." She said. You sniffled again. "She was with her bros last night." Finneas said trying to ease your mind. "Oh the ones she said she hasn't seen in seven months?" You retorted. He frowned. "That's it." You said standing up. "Y/n? Where are you going?" Finneas asked. "Don't do anything you'll regret!" Claudia said. "I'll see you guys later." You said leaving Claudia's apartment. Finneas ran after you. "Y/n wait! Where are you going?" He asked. "To see Billie. I'm tired of this Finneas!" You yelled. "Just breathe. Just sleep on it. Talk to her tomorrow!" He said. "No! I'm tired of the fighting. I'm tired of her not caring. I'm over this!" You said getting in your car and speeding away.
You pulled up at some house party. You get out and walk into a body of people. You searched around and you saw her. She was sitting on the kitchen counter talking to a group of girls. Her friend was next to her. He handed her a cup and you shook your head at the sight. You approached her. The girls gave you a nasty look. You ignored them and walked into Billie's veiw. "Y/n?" What are you doing here?" Her friend asked. You ignored him too. Billie just stared at you. "What? So you're not gonna speak to me?" You asked. She hoped down and chugged her drink and handed the empty cup back to her friend. "Pour me another. I'm gonna need it when I get back." She said. You could tell she was starting to get drunk. She led you outside. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "Seriously. You don't want to see me?" You asked. "Don't start with that shit. You don't like to party." You scoffed. "Billie. I get it. You have your friends. You love them but I'm your girlfriend. I'm not asking you to sacrifice spending time with them. You came home yesterday and you didn't even come home!" You said. Billie didn't look at you. "You know what. You seem distracted. We're over Billie! Over! I'm tired of fighting. I don't have the energy to carry this relationship anymore. It's obvious you don't care about me." Billie still didn't flinch. "Jesus Christ why do I even waste my time." She said storming back into the house. You watched in shock. You turned around and drove home.
Once you got back to your apartment you feel onto your bed and started to sob. You heard your phone buzz and you looked to see Finneas texting you.
Fin🤠: are you home?
Fin🤠: I see you car let me in!
You heard a knock. You wiped your eyes and walked to open the door. He stepped inside. "So billie told me." He said. You ran into his arms. "I'm just tired of being treated like crap!" You choked. "I understand." He said you pulled away. You sat on the couch. "I just wanted to make sure-" he stopped. "Thank you." You said. Finneas was like an older brother you always wanted. He was constantly worried about you. "Why don't we watch a horror movie." He said. You laughed. "Okay."You had finally passed out on the couch. Finneas picked you up and put you to bed and left. You hardly slept that night as you dreamt of Billie.
Billie stumbled in drunk as shit. She knew you were probably sleeping so she passed out on the couch.....
