Billie was laying on your chest as you were running your fingers through her hair. "I don't want to leave." She mumbled. "I know baby." You sighed. "Are you sure you can't come with me?" She asked looking at you. You frowned. "I'll try to join you later." She pouted. "I'm gonna die with out you." You brushed some hair out of her face. Finneas walked into Billie's room. "Hey bil- oh shit. I didn't know you were here." He laughed. You smiled. "What?" Billie asked. "I'll just ask you later. Nice seeing you y/n." You smiled. Billie laid her head back down. "God I miss you already." You sighed. "Put your shoes on. We're going to go do something." You said. Billie groaned. "Come on!" You said. Billie sighed. "Where are we going?" She asked. "You'll see."

You were driving and Billie had aux and she was trying to find a song. "Where are we going?" Billie asked. "You'll see." She groaned. She played some song you didn't recognize. Billie watched you as the setting sun hit your face. You glanced at her. "God. You're so beautiful." She said. You smiled. "God. I love you." You said parking the car in a parking spot. Billie looked. You got out of the car. You grabbed a blanket. "Let's go." you said starting to walk up the trail.

You set the blanket down and Billie sat down. "I can't believe we've been dating for almost five years." Billie sighed. "Hmm. Yeah." you said. You intertwined your hand with Billie's. You brought a bag of snacks and waters and a surprise. "Our anniversary is next week. and last year i was home for it." She said upset. The sky started to change colors. You laid down and Billie did the same. "I'll come visit." You whispered. Billie smiled. "I know. I just wish you could be there for the whole tour." she sighed. You both laid there in silence watching the sky. "You know if i could I would be." You said after a while. Billie looked at you. "I know." you looked at her. "Thank you." She said. You smiled and rolled onto your side. You brushed some hair out of her face and kissed her softly. Billie melted into the kiss. You pulled away and sat up. "Close your eyes." you said. Billie did without hesitation. You dug through your bag. You pulled out a small box. You took a few deep breaths. "Okay open." You said. Billie did and sat up. "Y/n?" she asked. You smiled. "So this is your anniversary present. And since we're not going to be together, I thought i'd give it to you now." You said. Billie smiled. You handed her the box. She opened it and gasped. You got her a ring to add to her ever growing collection. But this ring was special because it was one Billie wanted for a while. "How did you get this?" she asked. "Don't worry about it." "How much was this?" She asked. you smiled. "Don't worry about it." "I hope it fits." You said. "It was hard to figure out you ring size." Billie placed it on her finger. "Perfect." she said. She tackled you to the ground. "Thank you." she said kissing you. You smiled against her lips and matched her pace. Billie pulled away. "We should probably go before it gets too dark." You said. Billie nodded.

You got back to Billie's. Finneas had his girlfriend over. She practically tackled you to the ground. "Let's meet for dinner tomorrow. I have something I want to ask you." you nodded. "text me time and place." You said. It was kinda funny that you and Finneas girlfriend got along so well. Billie was pulling on your hand so your interaction was cut short. She led you back to her room. "You're staying tonight right?" she asked. "Of course." You said. She nodded. She looked back at her hand, smiling to herself. You watched her. "Okay. I'm gonna shower." She said. You nodded. "I'll be here." you said laying on her bed.

While Billie was in the shower, you went and talked to Maggie about surprising Billie. Your plan was to visit her in a month. You were nervous. You were never apart from Billie. You two were inseparable. "i gave her the ring tonight." you said. "Did she like it?" she asked. "loved it." She smiled. "Good. really going to miss you." You smiled. You heard the shower turn off. "Me and Patrick are going out for a while." Maggie said. You nodded. You made your way back to Billie's room. She walked in wrapped in a towel. She locked her door. She shot you a shy smile. You sat up on the bed. You looked down at your phone while she got dressed. she climbed sat next to you. "I already want to come home." She said. "Billie it's going to be okay. I promise." She sighed. You stradled her lap. "Ill come and visit you." she grabbed your hips. "Mhmm. Yeah but-" You kissed her. "No more sad talk for the rest of the night." You said. Billie smiled. "Fine. Keep me distracted?" you smirked. "Already on it." You kissed her again. She deepened the kiss. You laid her down. you stared kissing her neck. "You smell good." you mumbled. Billie wrapped her arms around your shoulders. "Can we just make out tonight? I'm tired." she asked. You nodded. "of course baby." you kissed her again.

You had Billie wrapped in your arms. "Sing to me." you said after a while. Billie softly sang. You closed your eyes and listened to her angelic voice. You smiled when you felt billies lips on your neck. "Don't fall asleep mamas." she yawned. "I won't." she continued to sing.

The next morning Billie's alarm went off waking you both up. She groaned. You sat up and yawned. "Are you coming to the airport?" She asked you. "Yeah. I want to say goodbye." Billie frowned. Maggie knocked on the door. "I'm up." Billie said. You got out of bed and went to bathroom. By the time you got back, Billie was already dressed. "ooh. I like that. you look so good." you said. Billie blushed. You wrapped your arms around her waist as she put on her jewerly. "I love you. I'm so proud of you." She smiled. "I love you more." she whispered. You let go and let her finish getting ready. You took a quick photo of her laughing and posted it on you instagram story with the caption. "I'm gonna miss you baby." you didn't tag her because there was no need to. "You ready Bil?" Finneas asked. She nodded. As ready as i'll ever be.

You and Billie walked hand and hand through the airport. You walked to the gate with her. She turned around and hugged you tightly. "Fuck. I didn't want to cry." she sniffled. You teared up too. She pulled away and kissed you softly. "I'll see you soon, baby." You said. She nodded and kissed you again. "we have to go Billie." Finneas said. She hugged you one last time. "Love you." she said. You watched her board. Maggie handed you a piece of paper and smiled. "See you soon sweetheart." You smiled and wiped your eyes. You walked away and looked down at the piece of paper. You opened it to see plane tickets for next week. Your anniversary. "happy early anniversary!" You shook your head. You also say another ticket for each month Billie was on tour. You gasped. You saw two for each flight. "p.s. bring Claudia. And keep this our little secret." You smiled and called Claudia telling her the news. You were going to surprise Billie in a month but you had to wait until you had the money to do so. Now you get to see her every month on tour.
