Billie stood up grabbed her pants, slipped on her shoes took one last glance at the sleeping girl and snuck out of the apartment. She walked down the street hood up and hands in her pocket. The cold dreary sky above her let snow fall gracefully. She mumbled to herself before she pulled the hood farther forward.

Once Billie reached the cafe she shivered off the snow. "Hi. What can I get started for you today?" The barista asked. "Two vanilla lattes and a muffin." She smiled. The barista nodded. Billie pulled out her phone and began scrolling.  Billie smiled at the photos from last night. She was glad she flew out here to meet you. She sadly leaves tomorrow. She tried to think of every possible reason to stay out here. Halfway across the country. She fell hopelessly in love with you the month she's been here. She hoped you felt the same.

She pushed her way back into the apartment to hear you blissfully singing. She smiled to herself as she went to find you. Opening the bathroom door she was greeted by a scream. "Fuck Billie. Don't do that." You laughed. She stumbled back with apologetic eyes. "Sorry mamas." She whispered. You smiled at her. "Where did you go?" You asked fixing your hair into a messy bun. "I bought you a muffin and a coffee." She shrugged. Your eyes lit up. "Really?" You said walking past her. Billie nodded, not that you saw. You grabbed the muffin and took a bite. "Yum." You said. Billie watched you eat the whole muffin in like two minutes. "Hungry?" She asked with a laugh. You smiled at her. She closed the space between the two of you. "We need to talk." Billie said abruptly. "Okay?" You asked nervously. She grabbed your hand and pulled you to the couch. You looked at her to speak. "So. I leave tommorrow." She said. You sighed. "Billie-" "no. Let me finish." She said. "Come with me." She said. You opened your mouth to speak but suddenly closed it. She watched you. "I've fallen in love with you this past month. I can't be with out you." She whispered. You couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle. "I've liked you since we stared talking a year ago." You said. Billie laughed. Silence fell over the two of you as you both stared at each other. "So?" Billie asked. Her expression of curiosity and hope soften your heart. "I want to but I can't just pack up and leave." You said. Billie's shoulders fell. "But. I want to. Just not tomorrow." You said. Billie smiled softly. "I get it." She said. "Plus my job. I'll have to start all over again. That's scary you know." You said. "You don't have to worry about a job. You could always come on tour with me and work as my designer. Take photos." She smiled. You laughed. "And you can move in with me. I'm in the process of moving into a apartment." She said. Billie grabbed your hand again. "Don't feel rushed into anything. I'll wait for you." She smiled. You smiled as you pulled her in for a hug. "Can we take this whole thing slow?" You asked. "What do you mean?" Bille asked. "Us. I don't wanna rush into a relationship while we are across the country from each other.  I mean I want to be with you but I don't wanna add any extra stress. You know?" You asked. Billie nodded. "I understand." You smiled again and stood up. "Now. Let's go get some Taco Bell and stay up all night watching movies.

It was four am and you and billie hadn't slept. Your head was laying on Billie's chest as she hummed softly. Starting up at the ceiling thoughts swirled around in your head. Billie let out a long sigh. Your thoughts stopped and you focused on Billie. You looked up at her. She stared at the ceiling as a tear escaped her eye. "Why are you crying?" You asked. She looked at you. "I don't wanna leave." She whispered. You smiled. Before you knew it you were kissing her soft lips. "Then stay." You whispered. She smiled. Billie pulled away and grabbed you face. "Please come with me." She whispered. You sighed. "I'll be there soon." She kissed you again.

Five weeks later
"I'll take over your lease." You friend said. "I'm not gonna ask you to do that." You said. "You're not. I'm telling you." She said. "Now pack your shit." You smiled. You packed everything you could into two bags. It's not like you had a lot of things anyways. Your friend started talking about how much she'd miss you but was happy for you. You didn't listen much. Your mind landed on one particular person. Your heart melted at the fact that you'd soon be in the arms of the person you love more than anything. "You know?" You heard. "What?" You asked. Your friend laughed. "Nothing. Hurry up so we can get you on a plane." She laughed.

As you landed in California, you searched for Finneas. You met Finneas via FaceTime. You asked him to come get you so you could surprise Billie. You spotted him and he greeted you with a smile. "Hey!" He said giving you a hug. "Hey." You breathed. "I'm actually suppose to be meeting Billie to do some writing so this should be fun." He said. You smiled. Nerves started to eat you alive.

You both pulled up to Billie's apartment. As you approached the steps your heart pounded in your ears. Finneas knocked and you both heard Billie stomp her way to the door. "Finally! You're so la-" she stopped in the middle of her sentence when she saw you standing there. She blinked a few times. "Am I seeing shit?" She asked walking to you and wrapping you in a tight hug. "Hi." You breathed. "Wait." She said. "I'm here to stay:" you smiled. Billie sighed. "I missed you so much mamas." She said. Finneas cleared his throat. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said. Billie didn't respond. He shook his head. "Nice meeting you." He said. "You too." You said pushing Billie into the house. She walked backwards. You closed the door with your foot and sat your bags down to wrap your arms around her again. She tightened her grip. "How." She said. You pulled away. "I quit my job. Used the remainder of my money on my plane ticket. My friend took over my lease. I just got tired of waiting." You laughed. She smiled at you. "Okay. So. I'm hiring you as my new tour designer." She laughed. "Billie-" you protested. "Nope. Can't decline it." She laughed. "Fine. But pay me in kisses?" You asked. "Done and done." She laughed. You pouted your lips for a kiss and she bent down to kiss you softly. "You hungry?" She asked. "Starving." You laughed. She grabbed your bags and placed them in the corner.

You and billie spent the rest of the day cuddling and just enjoying each other's company. Billie played some soft music in the background. She had her arms wrapped around you as your head laid comfortably on her chest. She looked down at you and watched you. You were deep in thought. "What are you thinking about?" She asked. You looked up at her. "You." She whispered. Billie smiled and ran her fingers through your hair. You moved so you were straddling her lap. You hovered over her. "I love you." She whispered. You smiled "I love you too." You said kissing her lips softly. "Be my girlfriend?" She asked as she intertwined her fingers with yours. "Yes." You laughed lightly. Billie kissed you again and flipped you over. You wrapped your legs around her waist. She hovered over you. She kissed all over your face and traveled to your neck. Tonight was gonna be fun.
