일곱 Between You and I

After some time, we arrived at the location. On the outside, the structure is painted white and red and is two stories tall. We walked into the building, but I was taken aback by who welcomed us.

❝Good night boys. A round of karaoke before school tomorrow?❞ Miss Juliet Beamed. ❝Miss Juliet, you work here?❞ I asked a bit taken aback. ❝Yes of course, I'm a busy lady after all. Students usually come here before the first day so I decided to help out.❞ She explained. 

❝What about the thing I told you about?❞ I asked desperately.  ❝Don't worry it will be there by tomorrow. How did the first night go?❞ A saw a large smirk, color Miss Juliet's face. ❝She took notice of Niki who stood timidly beside me. She came a bit closer to us and whispered, ❝Nothing happened, right?❞ She smirked and narrowed her eyes at us. 

❝No, Miss Juliet nothing happened, why'd you say so.❞ Niki Scoffed while rolled his eyes. I backed,  ❝Yes what he said.❞ 

❝What ever you say. So boys, how long are you staying for?❞ Miss Juliet asked as she clicked away on he computer. ❝Just one hour. There is 4 of us.❞ Jake spoke up. 

❝That will be $12,000 please.❞ He nods as he withdraws the cash. It may appear to be a large sum, but we were able to save some money by purchasing items from a convenience store that were significantly less expensive than those available here. On the second level, we were assigned a huge room.

❝I'll go first, there's this trending song I wanted to try.❞ Jungwon told us. We all just monotonously responded while getting ready. 

I see Jungwon punch in a bunch of letters, searching for the song he mentioned. 

❝Oh What songs will you go with next.❞ The hyper male asked. ❝I will do Daechwita by Agust D. what about you Sunoo?❞ Jake said confidently. ❝I like Fairy of the shampoo by TXT, I want to try that first.❞ ❝I will do Fever by Enhypen.❞ Niki announced.

❝Oh you mean that new rookie group? They kinda sexy.❞ Jake asked. ❝Right! They have good music too!❞ The shorter male squealed. 

❝Alright, it's decided lets start everyone.❞

What Jungwon sang: Stepped in Poop. 

They loosen up after a bit and just sing their hearts out like typical college freshmen. They were all having the time of their lives and were saddened by the passage of time.When it's time to leave, I notice Niki waiting for Jake and Jungwon in the distance. I approached him because I needed to ask him a question.

❝What's the real reason you followed me here?❞ It looks like I caught him off guard because he jolted back a bit too hard. ❝No reason.❞ he lied.  ❝You said you were scared so I ensured your safety, Right?❞ he continued to say.

❝Hey, I woke up the other day with duck blanket that didn't belong to me. Where did it come from?❞ I said narrowing my eyes and knitting my brows. 

❝It was me. You would get a cold if you stayed like that.❞ He breathed out. ❝Why are you so nice to me all of a sudden, Riki Nishimura?❞ I never called him by his full name before. It kind of slipped out. He started to give me soft eyes. ❝If we live together we might as well learn to be nice to each other. stop complaining.❞ with that he turned away and left me.

I honestly grew up on these songs so it brought me a lot nostalgia when I discovered it earlier. I was like in 4th grade bouncing to these jams.
