Dinner with the denizens of Nazarick - Part 1

Right before the slayer was about to exit the Grand Arena, the slayer turned around and looked up. The sky above was in fact beautiful, the slayer raised an eyebrow in a confusing manner. "The sky is an illusion, the way the stars are portrayed make no sense, granted it looks beautiful but even if the sky is pure of any pollutants these many stars being seen is nearly impossible" voiced Samuel after seeing the slayer raise his eyebrow.

The slayer turned and saw the petite lady waiting patiently, when he got closer a second figure appeared, the person was similar to the other small elf looking being who was announcing earlier but the figure in front of them seemed to be a shy looking girl holding a tree branch longer than her. The elf girl spoke in a stuttered manner.

"L-lord Ainz tell m-me to come along with you in case anything go-goes wrong", then when the slayer caught up to them a portal appeared it was similar to the blue and portal he had been using but this was a sinister dark purple with sparks of black spitting out of it. He followed them into it.

He stepped out of the portal and before him was a grand dinning room, the room was a metallic purple and the hanging below the room was a huge golden chandelier sparkling with various crystals. The table was huge with an expensive looking white cloth covering it. White plates were placed on top of the table for each individual.

There were a total of 12 seats, and the at the other end of the table was a black chair bigger and more royal than the other's around the table. Ainz teleported into the room along with the rest of the guardians, making sure that everyone was here he started counting " Sebas, Albedo, Demiurge, Aura, Mare, Shalltear, Cocytus and Victim", the guardians along with Ainz sat at their respective seats. The slayer looked at the people closest to Ainz, on the left was a smart dressed man wearing a red suit his face was demonic he wore a cunning smile along side a pair of glasses. The person on Ainz's right was a woman in a white dress her face was lustrous she had horns on her head which strangely reminded the slayer the demon he had fought countless times - Baron of hell.

"Would you mind having a seat Slayer", Ainz asked the slayer.

"You have proved to us and our lord Ainz that you, stranger are no ordinary human would you kindly tell us about yourself?", Demiurge questioned the slayer in a devilish way.

Ainz leaned to Albedo and whispered her something. Albedo asked the slayer " Lord Ainz and the rest of the guardians of this table are curious to see your face would you mind removing your strange looking helmet?".

The slayer was pretty frustrated with removing his helmet every now and then but he had to do so that he and Samuel can get the information they are looking for.

The slayer slowly removed his helmet, and was put next to the dinner plate.

"Wow I kind of expected him to be some handsome guy, he looks slightly below average as the stereotype goes. But he emanates some kind of aura like some kind of old and mystic feel, not to mention his eyes look like he has definitely seen some things he wished he never wanted to see." Ainz thought to himself. Everyone around the table didn't give such comical expressions as to those of the people at the village.

Ainz was feeling some kind of uneasiness, the slayer fixed his gaze at Ainz and did not blink once.

Samuel spoke up," I am sure one of your subordinates has already explained to you about us but please allow us to explain ourselves",

"Alright", Ainz replied.

" I will introduce myself, my name is Doctor Samuel Hayden I am what you would call something of a spirit attached to the slayer, I had a physical body once but then I willingly transferred myself to his armour. We are not of this world as you all probably would have assumed we come from a different world called "Earth", and for now we do not know whether we are in the same universe or a different one. What I am saying next is nothing but the truth if you don't believe it we know we have wasted your time and we will leave", Samuel informed.

"Hmm", Ainz muttered.

" The person here was once a mortal, his wife, son and pet rabbit were brutally murdered in Earth by the forces of hell, when he learned of what the demons had done he was enraged. He learned that he had to enter hell and seal the gateway from the inside, his mission was successful but... he was trapped inside with no escape", Samuel said.

Ainz looked at the slayer and saw a single tear making its way down his cheek, but his eyes looked like it was slightly bloodshot.

" After that I am not sure what had followed up but eons or a millennia later we found his tomb,..."Samuel suddenly stopped realizing the slayer signalled something with his arm "Hell invaded Earth but not the Slayer's Earth which he previously saved but my Earth, unnecessary details aside the mission was successful and when we were on to start a new mission we were teleported to this world, a forest nearby the village called Carne", Samuel finished speaking.

" This would have been the last I would have expected from the stranger,.. I made up my mind I will personally inform them as Suzuki Satoru about what has been going on." Ainz thought to himself.
