The sky was vast cerulean when Akaashi made his way home from his morning practices in school. His mind was full of y/n and he wanted to meet her again. A faint thin line curled upwards as he was thinking of her smile. He was delighted when he saw her familiar figure crossing by his path. He decided to call for her.

" Y/N! " he waved and jogged to her.

Y/n searched for the familiar voice calling for her. " Oh, Keiji. Hi! ". His smile however faltered after he saw a weak smile on her lips.

" You okay? " he was bothered . " Did you sleep well?" y/n nodded lazily.

"Yeah, I'm good. " she walked off, leaving the dumbstrucked Akaashi behind her. A feeling of anxiousness began to envelope in his heart. Y/n has never ignored him before. He reached out and tapped on Y/n's shoulder. That sluggish girl turned around and met her eyes with his. " What? " she asked briefly.

Akaashi fought his unnecessary feelings away and drew a thin line on his lips. " You know, you can tell me anything , y/n. " Akaashi was actually scared if y/n would leave him. His insecurities began to attack him. Did I do something wrong? Does she hates me? Please don't leave me, y/n. I can't live my life if you leave me.

Y/n leaned in and wrapped her arms around his waist, snapping Akaashi back to reality. He slowly wrapped his arms around her. Pulling her closer like he would never let her go. " K-Keiji.. too tight! " Akaashi pulled away and apologised to y/n. " It's okay. Mood swings, I guess. " she flashed him a soft smile that made him felt relieved. He pulled her into a hug again. " Keiji? Are you okay? " y/n hugged him back and patted his torso.

" I love you, y/n.. " he whispered to her ears. Y/n went crimson. She quickly pulled away and covered her red cheeks.

" H-huh what?? " y/n's sudden actions somehow made Akaashi felt unwanted. He missed her warmth in his arms. A pang of guilt hit him hard . Was it one sided? Doesn't she felt that way like I do?

" Keiji, I-- I'm sorry. It was so sudden and I just... I don't know how-- " Akaashi cut her off by apologising.

" It's okay, y/n. My bad. I just wanted to tell how I felt about you. " he tried to reach out to her but y/n avoided his touch. Akaashi was perturbed. " I'm sorry. See you at school. " he walked off.

Y/n felt so wrong. Confused. The feeling of uncertainty. How should I respond? How should I react? I do love Keiji. But what about Kou? I don't want him to hurt. I don't want Keiji to hurt. Both of them are precious to me. Hot streaks of tears began to fall off her soft cheeks. She crouched down, hugging her knees close to her.

" What have I done? I shouldn't hurt him. " she let out a shaky breath before she stood up and turned her head around to look for Akaashi. He was nowhere in her sight. " Oh, no. " a tint of fear stung her heart in instant. " No, no, no. Not today. Keiji!! " she ran off to look for Akaashi.

" Keiji! Keiji! " Keiji where are you? Please be safe. Please be safe. Please be safe.

Y/n kept cursing herself for ignoring the letter's warning she got beforehand.

*Flashback*

" Sis, are you really going to obey that letter? " Ikki was irritated. He asked y/n while she was getting herself ready to go out for groceries. Y/n sighed and shrugged.

" I don't know, Ikki. This is ridiculous but I'm afraid of the consequences if we disobeyed the letter. " Ikki groaned.

" Sis, it might be a trap! Don't fool yourself and fall into the holes! I'm worried about you. " he raised his voice a little. Disappointed with his sister's words.

" And I'm worried about Keiji and Kou. I don't want to lose any of them. "

Ikki scoffed. " What? You're allowing that letter to decide for your future? "

" I don't, Ikki. I won't, I promise. " Ikki wrapped his arms around his sister from behind.

" You know I only have you, sis. I don't want anything to happen to you either. This whole thing is crazy. You should ignore that stuff. " he was trembling. Y/n gave him a soft squeeze.

" Will you help me out? "

" Of course I would, sis! Let's end this madness for once." they nodded in agreement.

' If you disobey this letter, you will regret your whole life. I warn you, y/n l/n. '

* Flashback ended *

"SCREEEEEECH!"

Y/n's heart stopped. The sound of tyres screeched to halt sent chills down her spine. She started to run towards the direction of the sound. Her mind was swarmed with many questions. Was that Keiji? Does this mean the end for everything now? For a split second she actually had a heart and her eyes watered from the thought of someone dying. Or maybe that was just the wind since her feet were carrying her fast.

Pushing her arms back and forth, she jetted to her destination, jumping over small pot holes, dodging any obstacles , and pumping her legs as fast as they could go. The crowd was getting bigger; so many people were taking pictures and staring at what lied in front of them: a cold body.

Y/n's breathing was laboured, her legs were tired and the wind was just torturing her eyes. She wiped away several tears, not expecting what she was about to see...

" KOUTAROU!! "
