The silent tense between the two male figures were increasing. Each time Akaashi tried to stop his cold sweats from dropping was a complete failure as he was caught off guard by Ikki's question. Ikki was still with his deadpanned expressions led Akaashi's heart to tremble in fear and guilt. Akaashi never wanted this to happen. Akaashi never wanted things to get worse.
Think, Keiji. Either you run away from this or just tell him the truth behind everything. He was thinking so hard to make a decision. Ikki got more restless from obtaining no rightful answers from Akaashi. His hands promptly grabbed Akaashi's collar, tugging the raven haired male closer to him, irritated.
" What have you done to Kou-nii, Akaashi-san? Why did you do that and WHAT DID HE EVER DO WRONG TO YOU? " Ikki's voice gradually raised as his rage boiled deep inside of him. He wanted to keep things cool but it was unacceptable for what had happened to the person he thought of as a brother.
Akaashi, on the other hand felt devastated. His heart shattered into pieces. He hoped that Ikki would be the only person who would hear him out and helped him to solve his problems. Yet, Ikki blown up and tried to push him to admit his flaws.
He couldn't hold the heartbreak any longer. He fell on his knees in a disheveled heap as the hot streak of tears poured rapidly down the broken frame. Ikki was taken aback for a moment when he saw the plummeted fragile male. Guilt rushed through his ticker. He crouched down and dithered to place his hand on Akaashi's shoulder on not. He shook away the anger and grabbed Akaashi by his shoulders, making the shattered sapphire orbs to look into his cerulean ones.
" I'm-- sorry. I shouldn't do it. " his shoulders drooped before he pulled Akaashi into a firm yet comforting hug. Akaashi's eyes widened in surprise, not expecting Ikki would hug him but Ikki's warmth made him to trust Ikki doubtlessly. He was certain, there would be someone out there for him. Someone who would cherish him as a person. Someone who would lend their shoulders for him to cry on.
A great sob escaped Akaashi's trembling lips. He hugged Ikki tight with his quivering hands. " I want to-- fix this... Ikki. " Akaashi chewed on his lower lips as he tried to speak his heart out. " I know what I did-- was wrong. Everything. " The sound of suffering echoes through his wavering frame as Ikki rubbed his back to calm him down. Ikki nodded in every word came out from Akaashi's mouth.
" I was engulfed by jealousy, Ikki. I can't forgive myself. " Every words came out from Akaashi's lips jazzed up with chokes and whimpers. Ikki regretted for his ill-considered actions upon Akaashi. He knew Akaashi was alone and he had no one to care for him other than Bokuto, his sister and Ikki himself. The letters sent to his sister were the only way he could tell y/n how fragile he was. To Ikki, Akaashi should be more honest to himself and confront his feelings confidently.
But who is he to judge Akaashi? The one who faced the pain and struggles alone, just to gain love and affection from other people? Ikki realised Akaashi needed help. He hugged Akaashi tighter as the raven haired male gradually calmed himself down. " Come on. You need to rest. " Ikki helped Akaashi up and they both walked home.
Time skip (Y/n's house, Ikki's room, 8.00pm)
Akaashi was sound asleep on Ikki's bed. He was too tired after he spilled his tears a lot for his regrets. Ikki was studying on his study table. He needs to prepare for his final exams and high school entrance exams. Ikki applied for Nekoma and Fukurodani. He'd love to enter Fukurodani since he can be with his sister. He also didn't mind to enter Nekoma. Y/n wouldn't mind because their cousin, Kuroo went to Nekoma and he can look out for Ikki.
Ikki swivelled his chair to see Akaashi who was fast asleep on his bed. He leaned back and crossed his arms while his eyes were glued to the sleeping figure. His mind was recalling every single confession Akaashi made earlier.
