Luke made his way to his date, meeting her at the restaurant she picked, he couldn't stop thinking about he heard.
He called scott mctominay, his head was fucked, he didn't know how to feel.
He did like Riley, they had a connection not just the baby but before hand, he really did enjoy there time together, on the holiday where they met and now, his mother loved her, he was so confused.
Explaining all this to his close friend Scott, he decided to continue with his date that night. Maybe his head needed this, maybe he would sort it out and make his mind know what he wants.
Seeing the girl in the restaurant already, he smiled over at her. She was nothing like his Riley but maybe that's what he needed.
He sat down and the date was going well, but he was still let to bring up his baby and his baby mama
"so look I'm going to be honest" the girl nodded
"so, I have baggage" she laughed
"doesn't everyone?" I shook my head
"I have a baby with a girl that I met about 5 months ago on a holiday" she took a drink of her wine
"oh" was all she said, taking a breath
"how do you feel about her?" she asked, the look on my face changing to this big smile as I got to talk about Riley and my baby
"I'm so excited to be a dad, the situation could be better but I can't wait to have my little girl in the world" they had found out last week Riley was due to have a little girl at the start of next year.
"luke can I be honest with you now?" the girl placed her drink down as he nodded
"what you doing here? You love her, your baby mama. Your eyes just lit up when I asked you about her" she smiled
"go to her, go be with her. Convince her that she's your girl" the blonde nodded at the girl who was talking sense, more sense then any of his friends had
"please be a good dad and boyfriend to your girls, I can't wait to see photos on your Instagram" she laughed patting his arm as she got up and left.
