The lights on the corridor spread around the place, but it was like he couldn't be able to see anything other than the girl that was now froze in her position, wrapped in eyes like she was an ice sculpture.
Her eyes were closed and her face was peaceful, like a little girl fallen into a deep sleep, couldn't be able to wake up. It was like she was a completely normal girl, and one couldn't tell that she was dangerous.
Seeing her like that, not to mention, freezing her like that, hurts him so much. If only she didn't wreak havoc in the bunker, he wouldn't do this to her. But he doesn't have a choice.
He kept staring at her, as his brows raised and was shivering not because of the cold, but because of his guilt.
It reminds him about those times where she wasn't as distorted as right now. Where her face was still filled with innocence and determination to fight off evil.

The lights illuminated the whole city of Yorknew, making it seem like the stars had fallen from the sky. The lamp posts from both sides of the streets were giving the vision during the night while some of them were flickering and dead, couldn't be fixed.
The vehicles along with thier lights also added to the brightness of the place. Truly a beautiful city during the night.
Bht behind these lights are the dark corners, corners that couldn't be seen, but it doesn't mean it's not there to be witnessed by some.
In one of these dark corners, the gaps between buildings, a group of teenagers started surrounding a boy who was a lot younger than them, leading him into a wall.
Their evil smiles reached their ears, meanwhile, the little kid didn't show any fear or frustration. With his arms folded on his chest and leaning against the wall behind him, he just looked at them with an uninterested face. He just doesn't care about them.
"So... are you gonna give us your money or what?" One of the teenagers, the leader asked, seeing that he wasn't cooperative. He glared at him.
Still, the boy didn't react and in his same position, now with closed eyes. He was already fed up with them.
"Why would I? I worked hard for it. Make your own." He said with his low quiet voice, but loud enough to be heard by the teenagers while he averted his eyes away from them.
He just couldn't care less about them, and all that he wished was for them to move away. But if they can't listen to what he wanted, then he doesn't have a choice but to silence them for good and forever.
And the teenager didn't appreciate his response.
"So you're talking back now, you bastard!" He reached for the little boy's collar, grabbing him higher from the ground like a hanging man. His eyes were glaring at him, but the same as usual, the latter just gave him a blank expression.
The temperature around them started to drop, and the air felt cold, like something bad was about to happen to them. Some parts of the walls behind the boy was completely covered with frost and ice, and it spread on the ground. His hands and other parts of his body was wrapped in frost as well.
But the bullies didn't notice these at all, unaware of their unfortunate fate.
The boy was actually a newbie assassin and he was just on his way to kill the people on his list. But those who will stop him will end up the same fate, and that is no different to the people facing him.
