He's Back

Chapter 1

One day, Lucas came and saw Robert, in Montana, and Lucas surprised Robert. Lucas has tried to make Robert captain, but he said no because he never wanted to leave Montana. He didn't want to leave Montana, because of all the bad memories in Seattle. However, Lucas convinced him to come to Seattle and he assigned Andy to show him around.

When Lucas called Andy to his office, she was scared, but she went. When she arrived at his office, she was taken right in.

Conversation... Lucas: Hello, Lt. Herrera. May I call you Andy? Andy: Yes, you may, sir. What do you need? Lucas: I have a friend coming in, and I'm hoping to get him to come back to Seattle and work here. Andy: Okay, sir. Why do you need me? Lucas: I want you to take him on a ride-along. Andy: Sir, are you going to have him be captain of 19? Lucas: I don't know yet. Andy: Okay, sir. What do I need to do? Lucas: He arrives at the airport in three days, and you will take him to a company apartment and just make him feel welcome. Andy: Okay, sir. Anything else? Lucas: Yes, I'll send you more info in an email. Andy: Okay, sir. Anything else? Lucas: No, you are dismissed. Andy: Thank you, sir.: End of Conversation After that, Andy left and she went home. She didn't want to be nice to this man who might be captain, but she planned to be because the Fire Chief asked her to.

Three Days Later/ Day 1... Today, Robert arrives. When Andy got to the airport she was anxious to meet the person who may possibly be their new captain. Tomorrow, they have a shift, so she'll be taking him on a ride-along. She planned to bring him on the ambulance, engine, and ladder truck.

When Andy arrived at the airport, she had no clue who she was picking up, but she was there. She was there in her Seattle Fire Department t-shirt. So, that way she could be seen easily. Robert came out in his Montana Fire Department t-shirt. So, Andy introduced herself.

Conversation... Andy: Hello, my name is Andrea Herrera, but my friends call me Andy. You can call me Andy. Robert: Hello, my name is Robert Sullivan, and you can call me Robert. Andy: I'm going to take you to the company apartment. Robert: Okay. (They load his luggage in Andy's car and head to the company apartment. When they get there, Andy gives him the key, and they go inside for a minute.) Andy: Would you like to go out to lunch? I know a good little hole-in-the-wall place near here. Robert: Sure. Let's go.: End of Conversation After that, they go out to lunch and have a good time together. They laughed and smiled together. Andy then takes him back to the company apartment, and she plans to pick him up for work tomorrow.

The Next Day/ Day 2... When Andy arrived at the company apartment to pick Robert up, he was in his Montana t-shirt and had his gear on him. So, he got in the car, and they headed to the station.

Conversation... Robert: So, Andy what's the plan for today? Andy: You're doing a ride-along. One call each for ambulance, engine, and ladder truck. Robert: Okay. Andy: I will join you on each of them. Robert: Okay. I take it Lucas will be at the station sometime today. Andy: Yes. Robert: Let's get going. (When they arrive at the station, Andy gives him a tour, and introduces him to the team. However, she never tells them that they may be captain.) Andy: We're going to start the day on ambulance. The assignments for today are: Travis and Vic are on ambulance, Jack and Dean are on engine, and then Maya will be on ladder. However, we go on an ambulance call, Vic will move to ladder. We're going to start today on ambulance. So, there will be the three of us. The extra person will be Travis. However, when the three of us go on an ambulance call, Vic will move to ladder. Robert: Okay. Andy: C shift stocked the rig last. Let's check it. Robert: You are aware I'm not a probie. Andy: Sorry, I usually train probies. (The two of them hang out until the first call. The team is so confused about why a captain from Montana is visiting, and why Andy and he are laughing. The first call is an unconscious person. The three of them go out on the call, and then they head back to the station.) Andy: Up next is engine. Jack will be moved to ladder. Robert: Okay.

After a little bit, Lucas shows up. When Lucas showed up, Robert's deminer changed, and Andy noticed that. Luckily, a fire called call came in. when the fire call came in, everyone got up and ran. While they were in the firetruck, Andy talked to Robert.

Andy: What's going on with Ripley? Robert: That's a story for another day. Andy: Okay. Are you ready for you're first fire? Robert: Yes, but does it count as a ladder truck call? Andy: Maybe. Do you want it too? Robert: Maybe. If I say, no can I hang out with you longer? Andy: You're funny. Let's just focus on this fire. Robert: Okay.: End of Conversation After that, they went to the fire and then headed back to the station. When they got back to the station, Lucas was still there. Lucas and Robert didn't say many words, but they did talk. By the end of the day, Robert decided to sleep at the station, and in the morning Andy took him back to his apartment. They decided to meet for lunch the next day.

Day 3... When Andy arrived to pick him up, she was dressed cute, and he was too. Conversation... Robert: Is this a date? Andy: I was going to ask you the same thing. I don't get to dress up often. Robert: Me too. Andy: Where are we going? Robert: My favorite Italian restaurant. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation After that, they went to dinner and walked around downtown. Andy then took him home and then headed home herself.

Day 6... Today, Robert goes back to Montana. Over the past couple of days, they've gone on a date every day. When Andy picked up Robert to take him to the airport, she was sad.

Conversation... Robert: What's wrong? Andy: You're leaving today. (They put his luggage in the car, drive and arrive at the airport.) Andy: Let's talk every day. Texts and phone calls. Robert: What about letters? Andy: Sure. Robert: I have to go inside. (Before he went inside, he kissed her and she kissed him back.) Robert: Goodbye for now. Andy: Call when you make it home. Robert: Okay. Goodbye.: End of Conversation

After that, they kissed one more time, and then he left. She got in her car, drove out of the airport, and then stopped. She then started crying. She then headed home. When she got home, thankfully Maya wasn't there. It took about six hours, but Robert finally called. They talked until they both fell asleep that night.
