Chapter 8

Andy's 22 Weeks and 1 Day... Today, Vic is getting married. When everyone woke up, there was excitement. When Andy came downstairs, Vic and Jennifer were already awake.

Conversation... Andy: Guys, it's only 6:30 in the morning. Vic: We know. Why are you awake? Andy: Someone likes to kick me in the ribs while I sleep. Jennifer: I'm sorry. Andy: Why are you guys awake? Jennifer: I'm just so excited. Vic: Me too. Andy: Breakfast? Jennifer: Sure. Vic: Wait, a minute. You burn everything. Why are you offering breakfast? Andy: Robert taught me how to cook. Jennifer: He's an amazing cook. Vic: We'll try it. Please, don't burn the house down. Andy: Okay. (Andy makes pancakes, eggs, an omelet, and bacon. The pancakes were from scratch.) Andy: Dig in. (They both have breakfast. Vic: This is good. Jennifer: Agreed. Vic: What else can you cook? Andy: A lot of stuff.

The shift ended at 7:00 in the morning, and Travis got to Andy's townhouse at 7:30 in the morning. Travis's job was taking pictures. He spent most of the day taking pictures. Everyone started getting ready at 8:00 in the morning. They started with showers, then makeup, and then hair. Jennifer did hair, and Andy did makeup. Every time they finished a part of getting ready, Travis would take a picture. Travis, took over a hundred pictures that day. Everyone got dressed at ten in the morning, including Travis.

At ten o'clock at Lucas's and Vic's apartment, Lucas put his dress uniform on and put Andy's gift in the trunk. Everyone left for the courthouse at 10:30 in the morning. When they got there, everyone was excited. They met at the courtroom, and when he saw how beautiful all three of them he was shocked. He was surprised at how beautiful Vic and Jennifer were.

Lucas: You girls look beautiful, especially you Victoria. (Vic smiles.) Vic: Thank you. (It takes a minute, but they get called into the courtroom. There was a judge waiting for them.) Judge Angie: Hello everyone. We are here to celebrate the wedding of Victoria Hughes and Lucas Ripley. Do you wish to say you're own vows? Both: Yes, we do. Judge Angie: Lucas, go ahead.

Lucas: *Victoria Hughes, today I take you as my wife.*You're the light in my life. *Today, I promise to give you my love, support, compassion, and enthusiasm. To stay by your side every day, and to spend every day with you for the next hundred years. *I hope I get a hundred years with you. *Victoria Hughes, you're the spark in my life, and you keep me going every day. You make me smile when I don't want to, and best of all you make me love you. *Victoria Hughes, you are my world, and I love you. *Thank you for marrying me.

(Vic is now crying.) Judge Angie: Victoria, you may go now.

Vic: *Lucas Ripley, I love you so much. *You have taught me that two people joined together with trust, respect, and love can go far. *Today, I get new privileges. I get to laugh and cry with you, smile with you, sleep side by side with you, hug and kiss you, care and share with you, I get to walk with you and build a life with you. I have the honor of being the person you spend the rest of your life with, and I will never take that for granted. I get to be there to support and love you, and I cherish that. Thank you for that. *Lucas, you are my reason every day. You help me strive and keep on moving. The reason I get up, fight, live, dream, and just live. *When I first saw you, I knew you were the one for me. Your smile gives me strength, and when I look at you I get butterflies. I even get to dream with you. That is everything I could want. *Today here with you, Lucas Ripley I pledge my life to you. This is where I'm meant to be, and that's with you. My home is you're home. I would love the honor of being you're wife.

Judge Angie: Wow. You may exchange rings. (They exchange rings and just look into one another eyes.) Judge Angie: I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride. (They kiss.) Judge Angie: Congrats guys. I have never seen a couple in love so much. I wish you guys the best. (They go outside.) Vic: Meet you at Andy's place. (Andy, Travis, and Jennifer get in Andy's car and go to her house.) Andy: You got the vows right, Travis? Travis: Yep. I have a flash drive to put them on. Andy: Good. (They pull into the driveway and Vic and Lucas haven't made it there yet. So, they go inside.) Andy: So, I got some confetti. We're going to get them. Both: Okay. Jennifer: You guys are fun. Andy: Thank you. (Vic and Lucas pull in.) Andy: Grab your confetti. Remember outside only. (They grab their confetti, and throw it on them.) Andy: Surprise! (Everyone laughs. They come in and Lucas sees the house decorated. He's so surprised by the house looks.) Andy: I got everyone some pj's. Bride, bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen. (They all change. They all have a slumber party. They hang out and talk. Then Travis plugs in the flash drive into the TV.) Travis: A present from me, Andy, and Jennifer. (They watch the flash drive. It included the vows, and a ton of pictures.) Lucas: Thank you, guys. I love it. Andy, we got you a present. Andy: What? You've already gotten me a travel system, changing pad, and clothes. Lucas: It's in my trunk. (They go outside, and Lucas opens his trunk. Andy sees her convertible carseat.) Andy: I can't accept this. Vic: You have to. You planned my whole wedding and took care of everything. You deserve it. Andy: Thank you. Lucas and Vic: You're welcome. Andy: How about we do dinner at the diner? Lucas: Okay. Can we go in these awesome PJs? Andy: Will the team see us? Vic: Not likely. Andy: Okay!: End of Conversation After that, they all go to the diner, have dinner and then head back to Andy's place. Then, Travis, Vic, and Lucas all go home. Andy then hangs and talks with Jennifer.
