I'm not her

Their eyes were just exclusively for her,
I admitted to myself, she's way more smarter,
I felt devastated at a young age,
Co-comparison had left a huge damage.

Numerous medals were put on her neck,
I never received any, I cried in a deck,
They told me, I'm not giving everything,
Trust me, I'm always trying.

My life was absolutely a venn diagram through the years,
They keep on comparing me to her, though we don't have any similarities,
Our differences were said and given,
At the end, she's still the one who shines and glisten.

I gave my all for you to be proud of me,
I never asked you to throw a party and celebrate the glee,
All I want is appreciation for my every single achievement,
Up until now, nothing changed there's no development.

She's always been our relatives favorite,
They never clapped for me, even a bit,
When, I once did a confrontation,
They called me disrespectful and wants to seek attention.

I'm always supporting her during her winning seasons,
I don't hate her, like how you hate me and I have my own reasons,
Forgive me, if I felt like an outcast in our bloodline,
You never appreciate me and that's fine.
