What's the point in loving?

Dark place, I'm staring at the ceiling,
Constantly asking myself, what's the point in loving?
We both started it happy and all right,
Promising each other, we'll be strong in every fight.

Playing and shuffling pop sad songs 'til midnight,
Trying to seek for answers, struggling to find the light,
My foot took me to the balcony,
I can still hear our love's harmony.

We unexpectedly met last summer,
You left me six months after, during winter,
You promised forever in front of the deep, blue ocean,
Suddenly, you disappeared leaving me nothing, but only your cardigan.

I found home in your arms,
I fell deeper with your charms,
I didn't noticed, he's lying all throughout,
He's the sweetest, when he's in, a traitor when he's out.

Why do people need to promised and ended up breaking them?
Why would they shower you fake words and never an emblem?
How can they manage to sleep peacefully?
Even if they knew, that they're guilty?

I'm still right here, staring at our portrait,
Doing our usual hobbies when the clock reaches eight,
What's the point in loving, if you left me with no goodbye?
I thought it will lasts longer, the first time you said, hi.
