Nothing is impossible

You asked me, "What will be the reaction of my father?"
I told you, it doesn't matter,
You're really excited to meet them as soon as possible,
I know it's hard, but you comforted me saying, nothing is impossible.

I still remember, how you passed the exam without reviewing,
You got a perfect score from your art class, without a vast knowledge about painting,
I became a believer of your favorite quotation,
Not until, we lose our communication.

You said, you'll find a way to be with me,
I never talked back, I waited for me to see,
We never noticed, were slowly losing "us"
I want to pause the time, it's really fast.

Now we're on the both sides of a bench,
I took a deep breath, your jaw clenched,
I waited for you to talk first,
Like I'm a peacock, who's very thirst.

You started saying things that broke my soul,
My tears fell from my cheeks until it reaches my favorite mole,
You told me, you find someone new, and you're now happy,
I laughed so hard, when in fact nothing's funny.

I smiled at you even if I was breaking,
I softly touched your face, my hands are shaking,
Even if I cried on bended knees, it was no longer me,
It wasn't the ending, we wished to be.

Nothing is impossible, can I still change your mind?
You shouted at me, are you blind?
You walked away, hands in your pocket,
I know it's bad, but I wished we never met.
