Chapter 7: Round n' Round

30 minutes before the storm...

"Drake have you seen my coat?" Julius asks while searching in the closet to the side of the living room.

"Nah... hehe you're becoming a saint too, Master?" Drake is lounging on the couch fiddling around with a gold coin and bottle of rum.

"I'm just going to help out, besides they usually have donuts and stuff at these junctions," Julius continues on with his search into the laundry room.

"If only I had such an understanding man in my time, go sail the seas and settle down on the Golden Hind... or maybe another.." Drake looks up to her bottle held high.

"Don't count yourself out just yet Capt. next weekend we can go out and look around."

"Hahaha, there are some things you don't bring the crew for... hm? The weather seems like it's going to get rough." Drake is looking over her shoulder to the window behind her.

"Really? It's quite sunny..." Julius exits the laundry room.

BADOOMP! Thump!

"Kamaaaaaa!"

All sorts of ruckus can be heard channeling through the upstairs hall and down the stairs.

Kama comes from around the corner, her body shrinking from her teenage form and into a small child's. Her hands over eyes, as if she's crying, running to the Master.

"Wah! Wah! Master! Suzuka is attacking me!"

On que Suzuka slid out into view on the tile floor, "I totally was! You started this first!"

Julius stands there accessing the situation, unsure of what to do. Kama dropping the act and making the most dispassionate glare, an expression most sinister for a child, she looks to Suzuka.

"Psht, what's a girl have to do to have fun? It's not like it's a high school girl's relationship without some drama anyways."

Julius steps in and scrubs Kama's head.

"H-hey!"

"Kama, here and now, no more meddling with Suzuka's relationships. The city is a big place."

"Suzuka, you can put your tail down." Julius continues walking, and goes past Suzuka towards the entrance. Kama and Suzuka look at each other and then head into the kitchen.

Jeanne is coming down the stairs in a casual Sunday dress, she's holding Julius's coat.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Ah yeah, thanks for getting my coat, where was it?" Master Bull goes to Jeanne, taking the coat from her.

"It was in my closet from last month." She says, putting on her footwear.

Julius and Jeanne both approach the door.

"You look lovely in that dress."

"Oh.. thank you."

"Blugh, hurry up and get going." Jalter sits on the steps eating a burger and drinking a soda.

"Yeah, yeah. Take care Jalter, we're off!"

Julius and Jeanne go to enter their SUV parked in the driveway.

"What... Medea, what are you doing in there?" Julius asks, opening the driver's door, Jeanne is getting in on her passenger's side. Jalter, Drake, Kama, Suzuka step out of the house and approach the car.

"Ooh, what am I doing here I wonder. We could chalk it up to an investigation."

Julius looks out to the others, "What's up now?"
