S2 Chapter 9: Holiday Shopping

It's early Saturday morning in Unisberg, and the first weekend of December. The city has already begun decorating for the ever so celebrated Christmas! Three particularly large households were no exception to this celebration, and tensions were rising. Who would get who what? Will there be enough money to spare? What would she want? The Masters of Unisberg all in their corners of the world went out with their confidants to prepare for the priciest time of their lives.

"Mhm. I don't know about this one," Adam says holding a box of beauty supplies.

"Oh believe me, believe me! Any woman who seeks holiday love will surely appreciate this box set. If that's not enough, I'll throw in a towel half off..." the store attendant Susan Collins, known for her aggressive sales tactics finished their first barrage upon the unsuspecting Adam.

"That's nice and all, but our friend isn't looking for love right now. Do you have something for someone who likes the outdoors?" Musashi steps up holding onto Adam's arm.

"Oh why of course! Our fall collection, believe it or not, goes well with the winter season, and into spring. A hint of fresh spice that'll stand out against the aromas of the city," Susan says chipperly as she maneuvers around the store.

"Do you get anything she's saying?" Adam asks his partner.

"It all smells good! In fact it's making me kinda hungry heheh," Musashi says while pulling out a rice ball from her purse.

"Ok here we are, we have the Pine Man's Bane, Super Red Brown Ground, Cinnamon Sugar Burst and my personal favorite Orange Kiss Maple XXX Bam Baby." Susan says as she slides a number of beauty kits onto the counter.

"Uhhh, you know what I'll have to come back after seeing what she usually um... wears? Yeah," Adam says while starting to pull at Musashi who is sniffing the different boxes eating her onigiri.

"Well alright now! You have my card!" Susan calls out.

"She seemed nice." Musashi says roselily.

"Yeah nice, it's not like I can buy anything just yet, there's no telling where in the mall they're at..." Adam says, looking around.

"Ah! We have to get something for the Valkyries when they come back!" Musashi exclaims.

"Right. Hopefully they're not gone for too much longer, it kinda sucked not having them for Thanksgiving."

The couple walks through Unisberg mall, one of the city's greatest attractions not related to servants. Three floors that stretch out into a ⅙ of the entire city, not including the ever expanding urban areas, and wide selection of shops for anything imaginable. In fact, the majority of the Unisberg people just shop at the mall for their needs, while the other separate businesses help circulate any traffic. Everyone in the city has their part to play, even the unruly ones like the Black Dragon Gang members and the distant, intense Salter.

Across the mall, Musashi and Archer of Inferno were walking around doing their own window shopping. Salter sits at the cafeteria eating her third burger from the Isles that is there at the mall. Mikey is parked outside enjoying his time under the bright sun slowly being blocked out, listening to his radio in bliss.

"Porkbun look over there, Archer might like that!" Musashi nudges Adam to look over at a man who is hovering around.

"Woah, now that's pretty cool. Let's go check out the kiosk." Adam says impressed by the sight.

As the two approach it's clear the hovering man is very nervous and confused, people watch him in awe, before he zips off.

"Ahh! We're going to miss him?!"
