It is no secret that Marinette Dupain-Cheng enjoys getting into people's heads.

She took pleasure in the task of discovering what makes people tick. Being surrounded by proficient manipulators most of her life she has seen plenty of people being taken advantage of, herself included. It helps that she doesn't mind playing the long game.

Marinette knew that Wonder Woman and Batman would be the easiest to rile up. She predicted that Wonder Woman would lecture her on her selfish uses of the Miraculi seeing as her mother was a past wielder.

Bruce Wayne on the other hand could never keep his temper when someone threatened his precious moral code.

She had revelled in the fiery glare that Wonder Woman sent her. The fact that Batman almost had to physically restrain Wonder Woman was the cherry on top.

Too easy.

Marinette knows that the next groups will not bite her bait so easily if at all. She knew they were watching and listening to their conversation. They probably guessed that her goal was to rile them up and take them away from their line of questioning. Most likely they will be choosing their words and acting carefully when they speak with her.

'How to play this one' she wonders. Perhaps she will go for a tamer approach, play the role of prisoner admitting pitifully to their crimes. Let them think she is admitting her darkest secrets when really, she has barely skimmed the surface.

She clicks her tongue and meanders over to the coffee table and prepares herself a shot of vodka.

'To travelling through Madness', she cheers to herself and downs the shot. As she does this, she senses that the next group has entered the room.

Let us begin.

John Constantine was impressed. Marinette is clearly very intelligent. Somehow, she knew exactly what buttons to push to royally piss-off Wonder Woman and Batman. And calling Batman an 'Overgrown furry' was quite funny. He recalls Red Hood and Batgirl bursting out laughing at Marinette's insult while Robin if possible glared harder at the monitor screen.

Listing to their interaction John was attempting to decode some of Marinette's answers. Admittedly Wonder Woman and Batman did not get very many questions in due to Marinette's careful manipulation of the interrogation.

He is brought of his thoughts by the sound of the interrogation room door flying open. It smashes onto the wall behind it. John is certain it left a dent.

"Arrogant, selfish, cruel, conceited young woman," are just a few of the things John hears Wonder Woman mutter under her breath as she comes flying back into the room.

She points an accusatory finger at the monitor and then spins around on him.

"You, you better be able to get some answers out of her. She is abusing the gifts that she had the blessing to come across."

Johns' eyes widen. He nods at Wonder Woman. "I should hope that I can pull some answers out of her."

He sees Batman and Red Robin standing behind Wonder Woman. Batman looks like he is considering breaking his 'thou shalt not murder' rule. While Red Robin looks like he would rather be anywhere else.

Derek remains standing by the door.

"If the next group is ready, please come with me."

John stands and adjusts his yellow jacket. Red Hood does the same and begins to walk to the door, Batgirl hot on his heels.
