~ Chapter 8~

* 3 weeks later*

(Catra's pov)

"I honestly don't know what I expected at this point it is a Saturday afternoon and the shadow bitch is working, she is mostly gone from her job now so that is a plus. I have been eating normally which I don't really care about is I think it was two weeks back that she found out that I didn't eat for weeks on end.

she started making sure I ate something little every day and every week at least one day she made sure I ate a meal it was tough at first but Adora was there to help me, but there is still one.

We're still not dating, you have seen how many times that we almost kissed it's ridiculous something always happens right when we're about to. Adora still hasn't figured out I have been cutting, the first night Sharon got back I came home late she didn't hit me but she did say things like your just a burden or just go kill yourself."

"wow wildcat' a lot has happened since I have been there sorry I haven't talked to you recently I've been busy with school and stuff. my last 3 weeks sound boring compared with yours" Scorpia says over the phone "ehh, I think I might kiss Adora today we're hanging out with bow and glimmer at the diner you used to work at" "you should! oh shoot I have to go I will talk to you later bye" scrorpia says "Bye"

I hang up the phone and get up to go get ready, Adora got on to the soccer team and is captain of the team. they got their varsity jackets already saying it is was mid-October it was cold in bright moon. one day I didn't wear a hoodie for the first time but I had bracelets on to cover the scars, we were outside taking pictures for photography and it was freezing outside, well to me saying I weigh 99 pounds as a 17 teen-year-old. Adora saw I was cold and gave me her jacket it was a bit big saying I'm 5'2 while she is 5'6, but I didn't care it smelt like her and was so warm.

I put on a new shirt,  Adora's jacket, jeans, and my vans and started walking to the diner "Okay I'm going to kiss Adora" I say to myself but what if she pulled back I would make a fool out of myself, no I'm doing. it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the diner.

I walk in the and she is standing there placing down the food, she looks at me and waves. when I walk up to her she tries to hug me and I kiss her, she doesn't pull away she kisses me back and puts her hand on my cheek, we pull away.

"Hi," she says in a soft voice "hey, I think we broke your friends," I say and I laugh Adora looks back at them and both of their mouths are open "yeah I think we did," she says while smiling. we go sit down "did you just," glimmer said in pure confusion

 "yeah," Adora said "Well okay then," bow said they start eating their food and I wasn't going to eat here today until Adora pushes over a thing of fries, I shake my head no "come on just a couple you need to eat" Adora whispers to me "fine" I whisper back to her so I start eating the fries

Adora, bow, and glimmer were all talking and laughing and I was just kinda listing to them "Catra" Adora said to me "hmm" "you ate all the fries" she said in a happy voice "wait I did" I look over " oh I guess I did

About an hour passes and I say "I have to go before my mom gets home" "oh okay ill see you Monday, okay?" Adora said to me "Okay" I say as she gets up and hugs me. I walk home before Sharon gets there well she doesn't come home all night so that's a plus.

(Adora's pov)

oh my god, catra kissed me, she kissed me! it's about 8 pm I'm going home and telling mara about this. I get home and practice run inside and open the door "Mara!" I say painting she is watching the office she pauses it and looks at me "What!?"

"Catra kissed me in the diner today I was standing up putting the food down and she came up to me and kissed me, Mara she kissed me!" 

"oh my god so are you guys together now or what," mara said excitedly 

"no, I'm going to ask her about it Monday because we have your soup kitchen thing tomorrow," I say to her 

"oh that's right we better get to bed we have to get up at 4 am tomorrow and start making the soup"

"Okay goodnight mara"

"Good night Adora"

I get ready to go to bed I brush my teeth and take my hair out of my ponytail and go plug in my phone as I sit down. I go onto my phone and go on Catra's contact

I still can't believe she kissed me I'm still in shock.

(A/N) This was kinda last minute I went through 3 chapter ideas and they all turned out bad so this was the only idea that didn't turn out completely bad. after today I am having major writer's block so if you have any ideas please tell me but I hope you enjoyed it bye!
