~chapter 15~

(Adora's pov)
It's 8 am I've been here for over 12 hours, I'm starting to get tired and hungry. Catra is still resting, she is on her 2nd bag of blood on her IV. Bow and glimmer are going to be here at 10 that's 2 hours.

I am starting at catra and my eyes start to get heavier every time I blink. I start to doze off after about 5 minutes, I close my eyes and I fall asleep.

*2 hours later*

"-Dora, Adora wake up," bow says to me, I jump up after I woke up "what happened" "nothing, we brought you food" glimmer says to me "thanks" I sigh in relief and sit back down

" how long have you been awake?" glimmer asks me "since last night" "you need to get sleep Adora" bow says "I'm fine I got a couple of hours of sleep" "you should go home for a few and get some rest" glimmer said

there trying to talk to me as I am just staring at catra and seeing if she is breathing or not "Adora did you hear glimmer" bow said to me "yeah" I say not looking at them

"Adora, she is going to be fine," bow said in a reassuring voice "yeah, I know" "then why do you keep staring at her chest to see if she is breathing," glimmer said to me

"Your right I should go get some sleep or something" "okay, good now let's go eat," bow said we go out of the room and go eat in the cafeteria. after that bow drives me home and I go upstairs and go to sleep it was 12:43 pm when I went to sleep.

5:32 pm

when I wake up I checked my phone and there are just notifications from Instagram and the group chat between me, glimmer and bow, and then I see catra texted me

5:24 pm

Catra: hey, sparkles and bow told me you were sleeping I'll talk to you later, I love you.

I glance over it until I realized, Wait that's catra. Wait she is awake! I jumped out of bed and put my hoodie on saying it is 35 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius) outside and go downstairs "what are you in such a hurry about?" mara said doing work on her computer "the hospital catra texted me" "wait really? she is awake?" "yeah ill be back later" "okay tell her I say hi"

I get in my car and drive to the hospital. I park my car and forget what room she is in, Great I walk in and go to the front desk. "excuse me, sorry but can you tell me where Catra weavers room is?" yes catra weaver is in D24 two floors up" the receptionist said to me "thank you"

I walk to the elevator and get in, I think this is the longest two minutes in my life. the elevator music is making me even more impatient. *ding* I walk out "d24, d24, d24, d24" I keep whispering to myself as I walk to the room.

when I get there the door is closed and I slowly open it and walk inside. I thought she was going to be asleep but she was reading a book called good girls guide to murder. catra either draws, writes, or reads that's what she does for fun. 

"hey, Adora," she said softly to me "hey, I thought you were going to be asleep" "did I wake you up, I'm sorry," she said to me "hey, don't apologize so quickly you didn't wake me up" "oh, sorry," she said as she put the book down with it open face down

I point to it as I'm walking towards the chair "your going to ruin your book like that" "oh, yeah I don't have anything to keep the to place" she says looking down at her wrists and staring at the braces and bandages on them, "hey, it's going to be fine" I say to her as I stand up and make her look at me instead

"I don't deserve you," catra said to me "as I deserve you," I said and a tear went down her face "Hey, hey what's wrong," I say to her "N-nothing," she said as she looks away "you can tell me catra" 

"I'm sorry for all of this you don't deserve to be going through this, I sho-" "I don't care, well I do care about you and I was very worried about you but I do not care that I don't deserve this I am just glad you are okay" "okay, I'm still sorry," she says to me wiping the tears off of her face 

"I love you," I say to her because I truly do "I love you too" I make her look back at me and I kiss her.
