There hasn't been a day since Taehyung came to this realm that Jeongguk wasn't aware of his presence.

Every breath the prince took, every bat of his eyelashes, at every step, the raven was aware of his presence. He checked time and time again what Taehyung was doing, where he was.

The ancient magic he cast on the castle made the castle itself alive. So he wasn't worried that the silver-head would be anywhere he shouldn't be. The castle would guide him wherever he needed to go.

Just by the fact that he was so relieved that Taehyung wouldn't be in any harm spoke immensely of his infatuation. He was aware that what he felt towards the Daagan prince was more than what he should feel for a mere friend. He felt deeper and more intensely whenever the beautiful demigod was involved.

He was aware of these feelings.

However, there were consequences to being in the netherworld and being by his side. And he was sure, that this realm would change the omega, darker thoughts darker emotions. He didn't want to stain the bright and colorful male with the darkness that followed him.

But whenever he saw those sparkling azure eyes stare at him with so much wonder, his heart hesitated. To think that bright smile and twinkling eyes would be dangered had his mind swirling in madness. And so, the raven did not hesitate to look Lachesis right in the eye and answering a firm "no".

Lechesis snickered to herself. Of course she would. She knew the future. "We'll see about that" she said with that sly grin on her lips again, and it didn't sit well with Jeongguk. Lechesis was never wrong and it made his skin crawl at just the thought of sending Taehyung away.

"Don't say this. You know the dangers my child faces at Olympus, he will be killed without mercy" Demeter's voice did not shake, willing herself to be strong and imposing. She would do whatever it took to keep her precious baby safe.

"But there is a way to get him to Olympus without exposing his identity, is there not?" Clotho and Atropos giggling at Lechesis's words. "what do you mean?" Asked Demeter confused. "Lord Hades would know" sister of Moirai spoke slowly as she stared at a distressed Jeongguk.

Hades who had been silent stared at the assortment of rings on his fingers with furrowed eyebrows and raged eyes. Because he did know what she was talking about, but was it really worth the risk of putting Taehyung's life in potential danger?

"Leave. Now" he ordered while the Moirai shrieked and laughed at him mockingly as they left just as abruptly as they came. Demeter's questioning gaze burned at his profile but Jeongguk did not have an answer he could give her.

That is how the god of the underworld found himself sitting at the entrance of the secret garden in solitude. His mind wandering yet blank. He stared at the garden full of neon butterflies, glowing flowers and grass, and of course, the colourful pomegranate tree is wonder. He dared not to even step a foot inside lest the garden became the charred mess it was before.

How ironic that he wanted to preserve the beauty of the very garden he swore to despise. All for an azure-eyed Omegan demigod. But that's the thing isn't it? Love makes you do things you didn't think were possible.

A sigh left the raventte's chapped lips. "What has you so dispirited?" The soft yet deep voice tugged at Jeongguk's heartstrings. The ravenette looked up to see the pretty prince staring at him with worried eyes. He gave him a strained smile. But Taehyung wasn't convinced in the slightest.

The silver-head sat down beside the powerful god at the doorway to the garden. "mother seemed miffed as well. What happened in the mere seconds I wasn't around?" The demigod tried to joke. Jeongguk chuckled to humor him.

"Taehyung" Hades called out staring into the void, hesitating to ask the question he had so firmly disagreed with minutes ago. But ultimately, the decision was Taehyung's to make. "Yes?" Taehyung addressed as he looked his way. "If there was a way for you to visit Olympus without getting recognised, what would you do? Of course, the dangers on your life will always be there. Would you still choose to go?" Jeongguk asked softly as he absentmindedly fidgeted with the emerald rings on his right hand.

Taehyung stared without answering. It was such a random question and so out of the blue that he was startled. Jeongguk then finally looked his way. How beautiful the Omega was. His sharp nose, his sparkling eyes as deep as the ocean, his flowery pink lips, skin as golden as the mid summer sun, and those luscious locks that swayed like silver thread. Jeongguk was enamoured.

"If I go to Olympus, will I be able to come back here?" Taehyung asked so softly it tickled the raventte's ears. The shocked god stared at the other intently. "Do you want to come back?" asked the demigod with his heart hammering against his chest, anxious of what the answer might be.

"Of course I do. I would miss you Jeongguk. Won't you miss me too?" The Omega had Jeongguk in a trance, those azure eyes trapping him in place. "I would. Very dearly" Jeongguk answered as if out of breath. A small smile graced Taehyung's lips, pupils twinkling in happiness.

"So, would I be able to come back?" He asked once more with a lofty grin. "yes. As long as you have your mother beside you she would be able to send you back" the raven answered. Taehyung smiled as he looked up to the glowing pomegranate tree.

"Then I would like to go. I want to see my mother's home. Of course, I also want to return after my tour ends." The prince turned to look at the god once more. His face illuminated by the neon butterfly that passed by. Jeongguk smiled at him assured, "I would wait for you" he whispered, as if talking any louder would send the beautiful demigod fluttering away like the butterfly.

Jeongguk's breath hitched as he watched Taehyung's face slowly beam into a beautiful boxy smile. Oh how beautiful it was. "I'd like that" he heard Taehyung whisper as well, maybe the feeling of endearment was mutual after all.

After some time had passed and Demeter was notified of Taehyung's decision, the mother-son duo stood before the pomegranate tree with their hands intertwined. Jeongguk stood before them, his mood slightly solemn to see his sister and Taehyung go. Taehyung watched as Jeongguk slipped a ring out of his left forefinger. The emerald gem started glowing even more intensely as it detached from his finger.

Jeongguk looked him the eyes with a soft smile as he asked for his hand. Taehyung knew this wasn't a proposal nor was it a promise of any kind, however his fool of a heart did not hesitate to beat a little faster at the gesture, his cheeks flushing into a beautiful blush. He held the hand extended by Hades and watched as he slipped in the beautiful emerald ring into his left ring-finger. Jeongguk had the audacity to smile at him cheekily after he did so, making the Omega chuckle in amusement.

Demeter gave Jeongguk a stink eye as he stepped back from them. The raven only looked at her with a raised eyebrow, daring her to say anything about it. Hani just rolled her eyes at her stupid brother before turning to her lovely son.

"Time to go dear. Are you ready?" She asked sweetly. Taehyung took in nervous deep breath, "as ready as I'll ever be" he whispered before turning to Jeongguk one last time. "I'll be back" he said to him. Jeongguk smiled absolutely smitten, "I will be here waiting" he replied back.

After that the omega watched astonished how the pomegranate tree split in the middle to reveal a bright white portal swirling specks of all the colours of a rainbow. With his mother tugging his hand Taehyung stepped inside the blindingly bright portal, his eyes squeezing shut. Instantly the portal closed with the pomegranate tree going back to it's original form.

Taehyung had finally taken his first steps towards Olympus.
