It always slipped past Taehyung's mind that Jimin was the literal god of the sea because of how carefree and bubbly he was. But as the demigod stood inside the huge dome protected by transparent barrier magic, and surrounded by the views of mythical sea creatures, he was reminded of his friend's power once again.

Taehyung watched mouth agape as a flock of Cetus swam by, their weird whale-like body shimmering like stars under the sea. The magic Jimin set around the dome prevented water from coming in. It was like a snow globe underwater. Fascinated, Taehyung put his hand forward and delicately touched the magic barrier. It felt as though he was touching transparent silk.

Just as he wanted to take his hand away a baby Cetus came and tapped it's body against Taehyung's palm. The omega giggled as the baby Cetus swayed up and down against his palm, the sensation slightly ticklish.

"Even sea monsters like you Tae. This is seriously unbelievable" Jin walked up slowly behind the omega watching his interaction with the baby sea monster in fascination. Taehyung laughed as he retracted his hand once the baby Cetus swam away.

"I have always been rather popular among animals. It seems mythical beasts and monsters are not that far apart from animals after all" the Daagan prince grinned boastingly making Jin quirk an amused eyebrow. "Careful now, that thing may look cute but it can destroy a kingdom in a single whip of its tale if it wanted to" Jimin warned as if he were telling a horror story during campfire.

Taehyung looked at him with big puppy eyes as he quickly scurried back to the center of the room where the rest of them were sitting around eating snacks. The omega plopped himself onto one of the sofas and sighed at the softness.

"I find your domain to be quite beautiful Jiminie. This is very fun!" Taehyung chirped happily making Poseidon grin proudly.

The conversation between the six flowed so naturally it was as if it had always been that way. Taehyung felt his shoulders loosen at the atmosphere around him. Jimin and Hoseok arm wrestling while Namjoon cheered them on from the side, Yoongi dosing off on one of the single sofas, and Jin ruffling through Jimin's wine collection with much enthusiasm, everything seemed to fit right into place yet somehow something felt amiss.

As Taehyung watched the gods being so domestic as if family, the omega couldn't help but think of Jungkook. He looked down at his ring finger where the shimmery emerald ring was clasped securely. He touched the sparkling stone with melancholy as he remembered the raven-headed god he left alone back in the underworld. Hades was ever lonely in his dark and depressing domain. Just thinking of him here laughing and talking with everyone was a beautiful sight to imagine. But that image made Taehyung's heart ache evermore, because he knew that was but a mere dream.

"What's gotten you so down Taehyung-ah?" Namjoon's concerned voice snapped the omega out of his daze. "pardon?" He blinked and realised everyone was giving him concerned looks. The omega prince managed to give them a crooked smile and a shake of his head. But his unnatural movements made their concerns deepen instead.

"He's bored! You're such a horrible host Jim!" Jin suddenly roared out playfully, an honest attempt to lighten the mood it seemed. Jimin widened his eyes and decided to play along. "What?! After almost depleting my entire winery that is what you say?!" Jimin roared back. The stupid grin on his face did little to match the offended tone. Their adorable way of trying to cheer him up had touched Taehyung's heart and an involuntary giggle made past his lips along with a huge boxy smile. "you guys are so silly" he said making everyone laugh.

"So noisy this lot" Yoongi grumbled after being woken up from his slumber. "Welcome back hyung" Hoseok said bemused making the rest snicker. "How about we go to my domain next? Do you like books Taehyung?" Namjoon suggested making the omega's ears perk up.
