Hey camren fans, thanks for reading my work. I truly appreciate every reader that clicked on my book! This is my first book that I'll be releasing, enjoy <3
Word for this Chapter:
Destiny
The predetermined course of events that may lead one individual to a certain person or place. Destiny is what's meant to be & what's written in the stars, your inescapable fate even if it's a negative occurance.

Lauren's POV
This book is a-maze-ing.
The Power Of Now, this book changed my life. And I always come back after a few months and reread it, that's how much I love this book.
It's the early hours of the morning, 4am to be precise, and here I am flipping the page, eager to press on.
That's until I receive a call.
That's weird, who's calling me at 4am?
I look at the contact on my phone and it was Clara, my mother, whom I have not talked to in months.
I immediately sat up and brought my knees to my chest, my eyes now wide open and wondering why she'd call me at this hour. It must be an emergency for her to actually call my phone.
Answer it. ANSWER IT..
"hello?"
My voice came out breathy and soft.
"Lauren, something happened to Chris."
I gasped, held my phone tighter and quickly shot back, "What?! What do you mean, what happened?"
"I don't have time to sit here and tell you all the details, just come to Miami ASAP. He was in an accident and he's at hospital as we speak. I have to go..."
I frowned and yelled, "WAIT! Hold on please just elaborate and tell me what really happen...hello!?"
Call ended.
"WHAT THE F*CK"
I start hyperventilating. What do I do? I'm a more than a thousand miles away it's going to take hours before I get to Miami.
As my breathing gets more and more irate, I climb my wardrobe and yank my suitcase, and throw in a bunch of things that I hope will be necessary.
My mind is running wild on the things that could have happened.
And it absolutely angers me that my darned mother hung up the phone before I could even realise the situation.
I grind my teeth at the thought and ran out the door, my cardigan getting caught in the crosswinds. I was in the running momentum when the door whipped me back, landing hard on the dirty apartment floor.
My adrenaline, being high, and my anger, rage, confusion, frustration all lead me to spring back up and rip myself free from my now locked door. I hear the hard rip of my cardigan but I don't care for now. All that's on my mind is to catch the next flight out of New York.
