Hey guys, I hope you're loving my story so far!
Here's a quick recap of the previous chapter-
- Lauren ran into Camila, and they shared a special bonding moment, and they kissed under the vending machine light...how romantic.
Word for this Chapter:
Genuine:
Genuine is used to describe people and things that are exactly what they appear to be, and are not false or an imitation. Genuine people mean what they say, and if they make a commitment, they keep it.
Okay now Chapter 4!
~~~
// POV: Still in the hospital, the next following day, in Camila's perspective //
Shit.
I see on one of the daily news feeds, a headline saying:
"Camila Cabello rushed to hospital, will she cancel her tour?"
Oh no. I immediately call Roy, desperate for some advice on what to do.
He answers after one ring, "I'm already onto it Camila, what do you want me to say to the media? Are you feeling okay to continue the tour?"
"Roy it was only a laceration to my hand, I didn't do anything major to cancel the tour. So yes, we are still on."
"Okay Camila that's perfect. I'll make sure to have one of the best doctors to come with us for the remainder of the tour to monitor and take care of that laceration"
I love it how Roy can be the most playful person in the world, yet when it's a serious situation, he is the most sophisticated manager ever. I smile, knowing he had my needs as his best interest.
"Thankyou Roy, oh and the nurse said they'd discharge me today, I'll head back to the hotel and start packing for New York"
"Okay Camila sounds good. Just letting you know the flight is early tomorrow morning, at 7:45am, I'll text you the rest of the details."
"Thanks Roy, I appreciate it."
I end the call, and lean back on the hospital bed, and hear footsteps in my room.
"Hey Camila I'm here to change the last bandage and then we'll have you discharged and outta here!"
I smiled at the nurse, "Thankyou"
"Don't take this the wrong way Camila, but after this I hope to never see you again back here"
"None taken." I chuckle.
As she did her thing, I see a figure peek out from the door, leaning on it, crossing her arms and looking at me, grinning. She gave me a 'yo' nod and kept her eyes locked on mine. I don't know why, but my mind went elsewhere, the nurse was speaking to me, but it sounded like jibberish.
*jibberish2#rin+=35*
As I was looking at Lauren in a daydream I innocently replied "yeah sure, thankyou"
I saw Lauren's face break out in a giggle, and as she motioned her head toward the nurse I snap out of my daydream and focus on the task at hand, "sorry what did you say?"
"Is this too tight?"
I look down and realise the context of her words regarding the bandage, "no that's perfect, thankyou."
Relieved that I gave her a straight answer, she replied "Great then, I'll start on your discharge paperwork and I'll be back in a bit." I nod in her direction, then she left the room, then leaving me alone with the figure at the door.
