Chris's POV

I can't believe she didn't recognise her. When Camila came in my room I was tapping Lauren's leg, and whispering to her my shock, but I guess she didn't hear.

I won't tell her, I want her to figure it out on her own. Let's see how long it takes before she realises...

"Hey Chris did you say you recognised Camila?"

And I oop. What do I say!!

"Uhhh nope. I've never seen her before"

Hoping she'd not press on, I looked away.

"Hm, alright!"

I hate lying to her, but I just want to see her face when she realises that Camila Cabello was the one who saved me.

"Lauren you have been by my side for ages" I looked at the time and it was 10:40pm.

"You haven't even eaten yet"

Just as I said that I heard a loud stomach growl from her, like her body screaming out PLEASE FEED ME.

"Okay Chris, I'll be gone for 20 minutes tops. I'll come right back after I finish eating"

I nod and let my sister feed her gob.

Lauren's POV

Judging by the size of this hospital, it's weird that there is no one around, it seems that it's just me in this hallway.

I take in my surroundings and follow where my subconscious is taking me. I have no whereabouts of the food court or anywhere for that matter.

I pass an open door, seeing a glimpse of a figure banging on the vending machine.

I back up and see a woman, whispering her frustrations, tapping the clear window of the machine.

"This bastard just ate my dollar" I hear her say. And I giggle out a loud, unaware that I'd just scared her.

She placed her hand on her heart, "I think my soul just left my body"

I laugh, " I'm so sorry, I couldn't help myself" smiling at the end of my sentence.

I walk up closer and place my hand on the doorframe, hoping it would save me if my legs give in.

She relaxed, "Hi"

"Hi" I smiled.

And once again, her eyes were speaking to me. I knew she wanted me to stay with her, and not leave her alone in this huge hospital.

"Let the master handle this one" I joked, carefully brushing past her, knowing my arm touched hers.

Her eyes followed me, curious on my intentions.

My mind flash-backed to all those times when the library vending machine was broke, and messing around with the controls and wires would fix my troubles.
