Lauren's POV

"Camila, what's happening? Where are-"

I hear the beeping sound of the end call cut me off.

"What the fuck?"

I instantly dial Roy's phone number, and not surprisingly he picked up on the first ring.

"ROY, where's Camila right now? She just got off the phone with me and I heard something and I think she's in trouble."

"Calm down Lauren, let me think. Okay, she had the New York Capital's interview, then she must of just jumped into her driver's car probably heading to your apartment. That's what I'm aware of."

"Roy I don't think you understand, something in my gut is telling me something is wrong."

"Lauren you're anxious right now, you have your own problems that you need to worry about, let me worry about Camila."

I scoff, now annoyed at Roy. I end the call, on a hasty roll to find out what the hell is happening to Camila. My heart dropped, now thinking of the worst.

"Relax brother, I'm sure she's alright" Rocky's hand rested on my shoulder.

"But she screamed then just hung up, I don't feel right about this Rock..."

He fixed my eyes, wiping the tears away quickly with his hand. "Now don't give me that mate, she's fine"

I whack his arm away, now growing more frustrated, "Why are you and Roy saying this is just fine? How do you know? I'm worried and you're clearly not helping. I'm going to go and find her."

I ripped off my boxing gloves, throwing them aside, and tried to make my way out of the gym. His hands gripped my wrist, and in one swift movement I was back next to him.

"Where the hell are you going. We haven't finished here mate."

"I'm done here Rocky, Camila is in trouble, she needs me."

"We have a tournament in 3 days Lauren, we need to train you can't leave now."

I don't hesitate for a second, "I couldn't give a shit about the tournament, I-...I just need to find her."

I saw the fear in Rocky's eyes, and it made me question why on earth is he trying to hold me back? Why doesn't he want me to find her? I never questioned Rocky's intentions before, but his weird behaviour made me think otherwise.

He thought, then spoke up, "Fine, then let me come with you."

"Whatever, as long as I find her that all that matters" And thinking nothing of it, we walked out the door and into the veins of New York City.

We let the current take us down streets we've never been down, hoping to see something that would guide me toward Camila.

As Rocky and I were aimlessly walking, I broke down. I had to use my arms to balance my weight on my quads.

"Why is this happening Rocky. What the hell is happening to us" I let my blue thoughts leak out of my mind and my tears fall.

He didn't say a thing. He was silent.

"And my fucking last words to her was a joke about how I was seeing other people WHY?! Why am I so stupid."

I look over in Rocky's direction, and he was looking down at the ground.
