So you're probably wondering why Camila's family hasn't been introduced yet. Well, she's on tour right now, and I've made them estranged from each other. Later on in the story, you'll understand why they grow estranged.

Camila's POV

"Screamin' my lungs out for ya
Not afraid to face it
I need you more than I want to
Need you more than I want to
Show me you're shameless"

I'm in the backstage bathroom, alone. I'm warming up my voice, and I start to feel my anxiety bubbling up.

I tell myself to stop worrying, I literally look into the mirror and sternly tell myself to let my anxiety go.

A lot of the time, I let my worries circle my head. But after many years of dealing with this kind of fame, I've mastered my poker face. People see my hyped up persona, but inside I'm screaming inside a cave that echoes my anxiety.

Then I realise that she's coming tonight. My blood starts pumping, as I can picture her face when we see each other. She makes me feel so alive, and the moment I see her, I knew my anxiety will evaporate. As I think of that, I close my eyes and keep singing,

"In my dreams, I do anything I want to you
My emotions are naked, they're taking me out of my mind Right now, I'm shameless"

Then I hear a pound at the door, "Camila! Are you okay in there?" it was Roy.

"Roy I'm fine, just warming up! Be out in a few minutes"

"Don't strain your voice! Anyway we have somebody here to see you, she claims that she knows..."

I open the door immediately, leaving Roy in a bit of shock.

"Where is she?" I quickly ask, Roy gives me a puzzled look.

"uhm she's backstage"

I smile from ear to ear, and run past Roy, shouting back thankyou on my way to her.

Honestly speaking, I'm running around this whole backstage that is bigger than I think. I literally have no idea where she is, and the crew are looking at me like I'm crazy, running through these halls right before my show.

I run past one of the social rooms and quickly glance at the open door before running past it. Then I realise that the figure looked familar, so I backed up. I peek through the open door and find her fiddling with the wires of a vending machine, with her back to me.

I hear her grumbling, "Not today vending machine, not today. I will get my quarter back if its the last thing I do"

Grinning at the twist of events, I lean on the doorframe with my hands crossed and watch her try and retreive her long lost quarter.

"Seems like you're in a bit of trouble there ma'am"

She jumped at my sudden comment, turning around and laughing at herself.

Without hesitation, she came running into my arms, gripping me into a tight hug. I instantly smelled her freshly washed hair that infiltrated my senses, and I reciprocate her firm hug.

While still in our embrace, she lets out, "All day I've been thinking about this moment, right here." and I feel her rest her head slightly on my shoulder.
