Purple Hearted

Of velvet heart and iron soul,
She is clothed with thickest purple
And bathed by softest virgin snow.
Her ember lashes strike her gaze
With warm hues and blessings of her fire.
Her steps are blended into the earth
By her cloak of black raven feathers,
And her golden locks flow wild and free
With the gentle breeze
that gifts her rose colored cheeks.
She walks by me with eyes so blue and holy
And a smile so gentle;
She holds her vesture close to her
with hands of the willows in open strength.
And her steps always move forward tho stopping
Ever so quietly for times of rest.
Once upon a time she was, and still so she is today.
