With Liam

The call ended, and Liam just sat there. The look on his face pretty much matched the others', the look of disbelief.

He put his phone down, turned to Steven, and said in a quiet voice, "Well what do we do now?"

Sharing a look of despair, and equally as quiet, he responded, "I don't know."

"Maybe we can still find her! We can't give up yet!" Kirby tried to reassure the two guys.

She leaned forward and grabbed Liam's phone, and with a couple of taps, she pulled up the conversation with Unknown.

"What if we texted Unknown? Do you think they would respond? Maybe we can get them to tell us where they are?" She looked at the picture of a bloody Fallon, a shiver going down her spine. "Or we could go look for the building she's in."

Sam took the device from Kirby. "Are you crazy!? If we text them asking where they are, they'll kill Fallon! And maybe us too!"

"Calm down, Sam." She took the phone back.

"How am I supposed to calm down!? One of my best friend's life is in danger, and there is nothing we can do about it! We could all end up dying!"

Liam just sat there, silent, watching his friends go insane.

Adam spoke up, "My baby sister's life is on the line and your telling people to calm down?"

His girlfriend looked at him with a shocked expression. "Why are you guys turning on me? I'm just trying to help!"

"If you really wanted to help, you'd come up with a good idea that wouldn't get Fallon killed!"

Steven interjected the conversation. "Okay, maybe Kirby's ideas aren't the best for anyone, but we can't go turning on each other."

"You guys are unbelievable!" Kirby grabbed Adam's arm and put the phone in his hand, and then stormed off into the trees.

Adam only sighed, watching her leave.

An awkward silence took over them all, until Steven looked at Liam, who was still sitting quietly, lost in his mind.

"I'm sorry we're at each other's throats, Liam. How are you feeling?"

Liam shifted his gaze to look at the remaining three.

"I just can't believe that someone would do this. Out of every place in the world, they had to choose this forest, and out of every person in the universe, they had to choose the person I love."

With Kirby

The sun had nearly set, and when she should be at the campsite with her friends, Kirby found herself angrily walking through the almost dark forest.

I can't believe those guys!

She had been walking around for about twenty minutes, hoping to find any trace of Fallon or the building that she's in. Even if the guys thought it was a dumb idea, Kirby was determined to find her friend.

She didn't know how far off from the campsite she walked, but she made sure to remember certain landmarks so that she could get back safely.

As she was walking, she couldn't help but feel like something was... off. Like something, or someone, was watching her.

She had been following a dirt trail for most of the time, but when it faded off to nothing, she gave up the search and decided to turn back.

Just as she pivoted her body, something moved in the bushes behind her, causing the small branches to sway. The sudden noise made her jump.
