Chapter Thirteen: The Struggle is Real?

*Rogue’s POV*

       I hadn’t talked to BEN after what he did to Toby. It was unforgivable. My father was angry at BEN, but his anger didn’t show much. I sighed, and looked out the window, and hoped that maybe, just maybe Toby would be okay.. What am I saying? Of course Toby will be okay he’s one of my father’s Proxies. He will be okay, my father cares for Toby too much.

       I smile to myself, and opened my window. I walked out onto my balcony, and jumped down into the forest below. I landed on my feet, and started to sprint through the trees.

       The air felt cool and fresh. I heard a snap and I turned my head around, and saw the source of the sound. BEN.

       BEN had followed me through the trees, and yet I didn’t even sense him.

“B-BEN..?” I asked, and BEN began to grin sadistically. I felt anger surge through me, “I thought I told you never to talk to me again!” I yelled at him.

BEN’s smile stayed, “I know, but if I stayed away, how could I ever regain your friendship?” BEN began walking towards me, his grin grew to my horror.

“BEN!!” I shouted angrily at him, “Leave me alone!” I began to sprint through the trees. I heard a glitched laugh ring through the trees.

“TH4T W1LL N3V3R BE P0SSIBLE, L0VE.” BEN’s voice glitched out. No… No no no no no no!! BEN is not himself!! Maybe what Toby told me on our way back to the mansion was true… Maybe BEN has gone yandere.

I teleported back to the mansion, and got off all of my electronical devices. There is no way for BEN to randomly pop up around me.

I paced around my room, panic taking over. This is all my fault…. Somehow, this is all my fault. I sat on my bed, and placed my head in my hands.

I heard a knock at my door, and a weak, “Rogue..? Ro..gue…? I-It’s me… T-Toby..” It was Toby! But, why was he out of bed? He needs to rest-

A cold, wet hand clamped over my mouth. My eyes widened, and I looked in the mirror on my vanity table, and what I saw shocked me. It was BEN.

“Someone left their window open, I wonder who it is?” BEN’s voice was harsher, and more glitched. “It was you.”

I closed my eyes, and felt tears roll down my cheeks. BEN’s hand stiffened, and let go of me. I looked backwards, and BEN was gone. Maybe he still has some control in him.

      

       “Rogue! R-Rogue..?” Toby asked, walking behind me. Toby put his hand on my shoulder, “What happened? BEN showed up, didn’t he?”

       I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Toby spun me around, and put both hands on my shoulders. “ANSWER ME, ROGUE!!” Toby shouted, tears rolling down his cheeks.

       I felt tears roll down my cheeks again, and I fell forward onto Toby. “R-Rogue!!” I looked up at Toby when I heard a soft snik, and saw that Toby had handcuffed two of our hands together. (XD He’s pulling a Puck from The Sisters Grimm!! Rogue: I hate you, STS. Me: I know you do! Izzy & Jeff: Hahaha! That’s funny! Me: I know right? Rogue: Hate. All. Of. You.)

       “T-Toby!!” I said, blushing. Toby’s dark brown eyes were hard, like stone.

       “It’s too dangerous now to let you stay by yourself. I think your father might agree with me.” Toby said, tugging on the chain that connected our handcuffs together, and led me through the halls down to the kitchen, “Now, lets go get some waffles and cheesecake! I don’t know about you, but I am hungry!!”

       I laughed a little, and went along with it. After we finished our waffles and cheesecake, I smiled, “You forget I can teleport.” I said and then teleported out of the handcuff. Toby’s eyes widened as he started to fall over.

       I used one of my tentacles to catch him from falling. “Oh… I forgot about that..” Toby said, blush covering his cheeks in embarressment.

       “It’s okay to forget, sometimes,” I say, before giving him a peck on the cheek. Toby smiled, and waved as I walked out the kitchen.

       I walked up the stairs, and headed to my father’s office, when I heard a voice scream in shock. IZZY!!! I ran to the bathroom where the scream happened, I opened the door and saw Izzy standing there in a panic. Izzy noticed me and said....

A/N: Hello, people! Here is chapter thirteen! On FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!! Wow, can you imagine that? Anyways, here is chapter thirteen! The next chapter will be.... you guessed it! A surpise!
