Chapter Sixteen: An Unexpected Meeting

        Toby and I had run for miles until we stopped and looked behind us. No one had been chasing us. That was unexpected. We looked around and noticed something; we were in a familiar neighborhood. I recognized the houses right off the bat.

       We were on Maple Street. To our own little horror, we saw our old houses, two houses apart, had been rebuilt and redone. Toby held a hand to his mouth to stop himself from throwing up.

       There was little-to-no evidence of the fire Toby had started all those years ago to break away. I felt myself shaking. I heard my mother's scream echo in my head.

AMELIA!!! AMELIA!!! AMELIA!!!

I felt Toby wrap his arms around my shoulders. Toby put his coat on my shoulders. (Such a gentleman for a killer, eh? Toby: Shut up before I throw a hatchet at your head. Me: Shut up before I throw a pickax at your head. Toby: Touchéand hatchets are better. Me: Nuh-uh, pickaxes are. Izzy: SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU TWO!!! Me & Toby: Ruuuuuuuuuude. Jinx! Double Jinx! Jeff: SHUT UP!!!)

"Why did you run with me, Rogue..?" Toby asked, and I looked at him, "You're Slender's daughter, and I'm just his Proxy. He would have no reason to hurt you."

"Maybe because I love you, Toby," I said, looking back down, "And maybe you're worth it." I smiled.

*3rd Person POV*

Toby blushed slightly, even after knowing the feeling of never having to be bullied again very well; Toby was still unused to being flattered. Toby was also unused to being loved like Rogue loved him.

"Maybe we should head back," Rogue said, leaning her head on Toby's shoulder, "We should explain ourselves to my father... Maybe it won't be as bad as we fear."

Before the couple to leave, however, a figure approached from behind. The figure spoke softly, "Amelia... Tobias Rogers...."

Toby and Rogue whirled around, and Rogue sank to her knees. It was the mysterious figure from Izzy and Jeff's reception!! The woman was wearing a mask, which resembled a joyous clown (Da picture :3), and reached out a hand.

Rogue's eyes widened in shock, as the figure lifted her mask, showing beautiful purple eyes, and flowing long dark brown hair. A smirk was on the woman's face, "What, no hug, Amelia?"

Rogue's mouth quivered, "M-Mother...?"

"The one and only," Veronica said, her arms spread out, beckoning Rogue into a hug.

"S-She's your m-mother?" Toby asked, twitching, watching Rogue get up and give Veronica a hug.

"Sir, it is without a doubt her, and she is right over there-" CreepsMcPasta and Mr. CreepyPasta were talking to someone. SlenderMan.

"V-Veronica....?" Slender asked, turning into his human form.

"Hello, Richard." Veronica said, looking up from her embrace with Rogue, "You have a very nice and polite Proxy watching over Rogue, you shouldn't be so tense."

Blush covered Slender's features, "I-I'm not being tense..."

Toby was awestruck. This woman was definitely Rogue's mother, if she could make Slendy flustered like this...

"Tobias.... Rogue.... Why did you run?" Slender asked, turning to face us.

"U-Uh.... You see, we.... Didn't know what to expect...." Rogue said, biting her lip. Toby nodded, and noticed Veronica smirking.

"You two are cute, you know that?" Veronica said, walking over to Slender to stand with him.

"I've been told, so." Toby said, smiling through his mouth guard.

Veronica laughed, "Okay, I definitely like you, now."

Toby grinned, "I have that ability that makes people think I'm absolutely infectiously adorable."

"Masky sure as hell doesn't think that," Rogue said, fake coughing into her fist.

"That's because he's an asshole." Toby said, coughing into his own fist.

"Fair enough," Rogue said, before turning to face her father and mother, "So.... You aren't mad....?"

"Mad....?" Slender asked, "I'm not mad....."

"Oh shizz.... This cannot be good...." CreepsMcPasta whispered to Mr. CreepyPasta.

"Richard...." Veronica said, "Calm yourself and loosen up. You are quite tense."

Slender sighed, "Veronica.... Never mind. Let's all return to the Mansion. We're too exposed out here. Besides, we can't risk anyone to get captured."

Thus they all returned to the CreepyPasta Mansion.
