I got out my pickaxes and stood back to back with Jade. Toby whipped out his hatchets and took down a couple of the Rakes while Jade and I were taking out some of the Seedeaters. Seed and Rake growled at the new and insanity filled younger Rakes and Seedeaters, before attacking them without mercy or hesitation. Jade held her knives with confidence, eyeing the Rakes and Seedeaters with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Blood splattered on the, used to be, pure white snow.

Screams rang throughout the air. I felt a sharp pain ring throughout my left arm as a Rake ripped through my coat and sliced open my flesh. My dark, almost black, crimson blood spurted out.

I heard a growl come from behind me. Kaitlyn suddenly jumped out from behind me in her wolf form. She ripped the Rake that had attacked me in half. "LIKE HELL WILL I ALLOW YOU TO HURT MY FRIENDS!!!!" She growled loudly in her wolf form.

A Rake fell down, charred to a crisp. "I second that." Ash said, preparing his flamethrower again.

A hatchet flew around, decapitating five Rakes in a row. "I-I guess you c-ca-can say I th-thir-third that!!"

Jade finished killing a fifth Seedeater, "Oh, I can say a fourth to that!!! Heads up!!!" Jade threw a knife at a Seedeater about to jump Toby, killing it instantly.

"Okay!!" I said, taking out a couple more of the Rakes, "I feel loved and all but we need to take these sons of bitches down!!!"

Jeff and Izzy suddenly appeared, armed and ready. Jeff opened his jacket and begun throwing knives at any of the Rakes and Seedeaters (except for the originals, he knew they wouldn't even try) that tried to attack any of us.

Izzy was grinning, her golden eyes full of mischief. She ran at a Rake, lifting her sledgehammer above her head, "Why don't you stay awake with me tonight? Oh wait, you can't!!!!" Izzy slammed her sledgehammer down upon the (poor) Rake's skull, crushing it instantly. This repeated for a couple more minutes until Jeff attacked a Seedeater that was about to jump Izzy from behind.

"Like hell am I going to let you hurt my woman!!!" He growled, killing Seedeater after Seedeater.

I tried to focus of the Rakes and Seedeaters in front of me. Toby was by my side, hacking off the heads of Rakes that got too close. "O-Oh yeah, just go ahead and take your f-f-fuck-king time!!! It's not li-like we're on a t-time limit and you-your sister isn't i-in danger of a demon k-king!!!!" Toby said, his ticks getting out of control as he killed any Rake and Seedeater that got close enough to them.

"Well sorry!!!" I said, launching forward and slicing the heads off of five Rakes, "It's really hard to attack so many fucking enemies at one time!!!!"

Toby scoffed with a laugh. Another head of a Seedeater hit the blood-stained snow with a silent thump! "Heh, that's m-more like it!!"

After what seemed like ages, we had finished off the rest of the pack. Their crimson blood beginning to dry on the trees and all over us. Seed walked—err, waddled—back over to EJ, who fed him a kidney from his pocket. EJ looked up at me.

"What?" He asked, "I'm just feeding Seed some more fuel." I shook my head, smiling.

"Oh nothing~, it's just nice to know you have some humanity in you." I said, chuckling.

EJ glared at me, "Yeah whatever. We need to keep going." I nodded, frowning at his sass.

I jogged ahead of EJ, following the signs I saw in my visions. I put my pickaxes back in my belt loops. Toby, Tim, Brian, Kitty, Ash, and John caught up to me.

"Do you know how much further we have to go until we find the portal, Sarah?" Tim asked, "You have the visions and we don't, so a little light on where we're going would be at most appreciated."

"Keep your mask on, Timmothy," I said, smirking, "We're almost to the portal. It's not even 50 yards away. Although we should be reaching it about... Now!" I stopped two yards away from the portal.

"Well done, my child," Father said, patting my head with one of his tendrils. I beamed with pride. "Now, everyone be prepared! When you go through the portal, be ready for anything! For all we know, there could be an ambush! We can't afford to lose any of you; I hope you are all aware of that. Sarah and Toby, you both go first. We're counting on you."

Toby and I nodded, before he grabbed my hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. "Let's do this." He said, strangely without twitching. "Let's go find Rogue."

I nodded, before pulling him into the portal with me. The liquid darkness swirled around us, the stars shimmered. I felt Toby's grip on my hand grow tighter. I could feel his thoughts reel through my subconsiousness. I won't lose my best friend to this void. It's trying to separate us, I know it is! If I can't find Amelia, the best thing I can do is to make sure Sarah doesn't go away forever. Amelia would want me to make sure of it.

I squeezed his hand back, letting him know that I wouldn't be going anywhere. Toby squeezed back, looking over at me. He was afraid, all of us were, yet, he was keeping himself together as well as I was. The possibility of losing the one you love is terrifying.

The fall felt like it would never end and felt like it had already lasted many, many hours, but ended within five or so minutes. We landed on out feet in a strange place. It felt a tad bit warm here. I felt insanity course throughout my entire being, becoming a tingling sensation in my toes and fingertips, and, well, everywhere!

I looked over at Toby to find him looking back at me. "I-It looks like it work-worked..." Toby said, his twitching returning.

I gave him a small smile, "We're definitely in the right place."

Toby smiled back, "S-So we're in the righ-right place then?" He asked me.

I grinned. "Yes. Toby, welcome to hell. We've been expecting you."

Toby chuckled at that remark. "Well, then I guess we should continue onward?" He asked.

I nodded, "Yes. The more information we gather, the better."

Toby nodded, "I-I couldn't agree m-more. The close-closer we are to finding Zal-Zalgo, the closer we are to fin-finding Rogue."

I nodded, before leading Toby and myself in the direction of the same corridor I saw in my vision. I stopped for a second, before looking down at my hand, still in Toby's grasp. "Uh Toby...?" I asked; he looked at me.

"Yes Sarah?" Toby responded. "You're still holding my hand." I said, lifting our hands, still entwined, to his line of sight.

He blushed, letting my hand go, "Ehh, sorry about th-that..."

I shrugged it off, letting my hand fall back to my side. "Don't worry about it. Times are intense right now. Let's just keep going, alright?"

Toby nodded, "Right!"
