Chapter Twenty-Six: The End? (Part 1, On Our Way)

"This way!!" I yelled, running through the trees, "I just know it!! This is the way to Zalgo's Lair!!" I had to save my sister. I just had to!! It wasn't her Zalgo wanted!! It was me!! She wasn't the one Zalgo tried to kidnap has a child—it was me!!

Toby and the others were following me. It turned out that Candy Cane and Candy Pop were working for Zalgo, and were spies. They had left a couple days ago, taking Herobrine with them. It hurt to know that he would follow her like a sick, twisted little puppy.

I glanced over at Toby; rock hard determination was in his eyes. I felt so sorry for him. If I can't have a happy ending, that doesn't mean he can't! After all, he was one of my best friends and my future brother-in-law! I had to do this. For Toby and Amelia. For their child. They're family! Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten, does it not!?!

Running. Breathing. The cold air felt like little razors cutting open my lungs. My scarf swung to and fro. My goggles were getting fogged up, not doubt Toby's were, too. Running. Breathing. My heart was racing. We finally had located Zalgo. This was a huge deal. Bigger than anything I could have ever imagined before.

Snow and ice crunched beneath out feet. Frozen twigs and leaves snapped. Snowflakes stuck to our coats and weapons, and pretty much everywhere. Our breaths filled the air with white puffs. The cold didn't bother me. Nothing had for the longest time. I liked the cold. It matched the eternal numbing feeling I felt inside.

Toby was keeping up with me, his strides matching up with mine. His hatchet blades gleamed in the moonlight. His ticks were strangely soothing. Shadow was right behind me. He would bark now and then, as if asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? ARE WE THERE YET?!!?!?", kind of like Donkey from Shrek.

My mother was close behind. Tim, Brian, Natalie, John, Kaitlyn, Smile, Jeff, Izzy, Alex, BEN, Father, LJ (Jack and Jill), EJ, Nina, Michael and Derrick (even though they were only about four, they were really good fighters thanks to their father), Jane, Jade Smiles (a new recruit), Ash, Zero, Puppeteer, Bloody Painter (Helen), Judge Angels, Mannequin, and pretty much the whole household was with us. We even had Seed and Rake with us. We never take Rake or Seed with us unless it was absolutely necessary.

Jade made her way next to me. She had arrived two months ago and she, Kaitlyn, and I were already best friends. Her brown hair was swaying in the breeze. "How much further, Sarah? Do you know?"

I nodded, "Yeah, it's not that much further. We're almost at the portal. We're practically on top of it."

Jade nodded, "Yeah, I guess that would make sense. WATCH OUT!!" Jade sliced at the air, cutting a new and already rogue young Rake in half. Within moments, Jade and I were completely surrounded by a whole pack of young and rogue Rakes and Seedeaters.

A/N: Hello guys, I am so sorry this part has been delayed. It is not 800 words, but I really wanted to get something uploaded and didn't want to do a bonus chapter... So, the next part shall have 1,075 or more words to make up for the lack of words. Anyways, my friend Jade is now in the story. I have her permission to her CreepyPasta OC, Jade Smiles, in the story.
