As soon as Blue and the others arrived at the Determined Mountains, Blue noticed a small town in one of the valleys. A few miles ahead of it was a volcano. Blue gulped as she realized the location of the Spear of the Earth.
"I have bad news," she said, "The spear we're looking for is in the volcano's crater."
"I remember this place," Rosie said, "The volcano should be inactive right now, but if it isn't, that could be bad news for the Star Fairies living here."
"That's right," Emile realized, "This is where you're from. You're one of the Determined Star Fairies."
"Yes, it's true," Rosie replied, "But we aren't very happy where we live. Out of all of the traits, we have the worst living conditions. We live in the valley of a mountain range and we suffer from a lack of resources. Due to these living conditions, I was Determined to leave, but the others were Determined to stay."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Layla said, "I never knew your life used to be like this."
"It's fine," Rosie replied, "Let's just go get the spear and get out of here."
"Someone seems in a hurry," Ink remarked, "Why don't we stay for a bit and look around?"
"I agree," Claire replied, "I've never been here before, so this should be an exciting experiment."
"I suppose we could stop and see Rosie's hometown," Blue said, "Besides, it might be fun." Rosie crossed her arms.
"Fine, but I don't want to get too involved," Rosie stated, "I despise this place." They then walked down into the valley where the village was located.
As they arrived, there was something peculiar about the village. There were almost no houses and everyone lived under tarps. There were lots of vendors as well, selling a wide variety of items from necklaces to flame swords. The clothes the Star Fairies were ragged and trashy compared to the nice clothes Blue and company had. Everyone in the village stared at them.
"I feel so sorry for the people here," Blue said, "I wish we could have helped them sooner."
"These people look worse than the Bravarians," Emile stated with a frown, "At least we have proper shelter." Rosie started to get chills crawl down her spine.
"Perhaps we should go get cloaks to make ourselves not stand out so much," she suggested, "They're looking at us funny."
"Cloaks!" A male Star Fairy shouted from one of the vendors, "Come get some new cloaks! Perfect for making yourself look scarce!" Rosie marched over to him.
"I'll take six!" she demanded as she slammed some money down on the table. Everyone lowered their eyebrows with disappointment, except for Ink and Claire.
"Here you are," the man said as he handed her the cloaks, "Say, you look familiar. Haven't I seen you somewhere before?" Rosie began to blush and quickly put on a cloak.
"Nope, you've never seen me. Bye!" she said quickly as she sped walked back to the others. She then handed the cloaks to everyone else.
"What was that all about?" Ink asked.
"Are you like really famous or something?" Claire asked, "Why would you want to hide something like that?" Emile chuckled.
"I never knew you were quite the celebrity," he said. Rosie began blushing more and hid her face in the cloak's hood.
"It's nothing like that!" she said. Everyone giggled a bit. Rosie squinted her eyes and revealed her face again.
"Anyway," she said, "Let's go get the spear and get out of here before anyone spots us."
