Chapter 10

Not long after everyone left the party, Blue and the others looked forward as X Rosie and her followers suddenly appeared into the scene.

"X Rosie!" Ink shouted, "What are you doing here?!"

"Well, I came by for the party, but it appears that I'm too late," she remarked, "And to catch up on a few things. Maybe Emile and I could finish what we started, or is he too afraid to lay another finger on me?" Emile lowered his eyebrows as he clenched his fists.

"I won that fight fair and square," he responded with slight anger, "And I am NOT afraid of you."

"Your lust for power will only be your downfall," Atlantis told her, "Surrender now, or we will have to take desperate measures!"

"That's too bad," X Rosie mocked, "I am much stronger than any of you will ever be."

"It won't be long before Layla and Percy come back," Blue told her, "They have the other two artifacts."

"You mean this one?" X Rosie asked as she revealed a scepter similar to Henry's. Everyone gasped.

"Yeah, I found it in a nearby chest in a locked away for safe keeping," she explained, "Not the best hiding place I must say." She then tossed the scepter to X Elizabeth and summoned her Plasma Sword.

"Your SOULs are essential to my plan to restore our world to its fullest form," she explained, "Now, hand them over!" Blue then transformed into her eternal form and summoned the Eternal Star Scepter.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" she shouted, "Silver Star Eternal Light Blast!" X Rosie held her hand out as she absorbed the glorious light the spell emitted. She then cast it back at Blue, destroying the scepter and returning her to her normal form. Blue gasped as her power had been eliminated.

"What are you going to do without that power?" X Rosie asked, "You can't do anything to me now. Your chain is weak. How about some lightning to top it all off?!" She then charged up an electric attack and fired it at Artemis. Artemis screamed in pain as the bolt pierced his chest. He then fell to the ground unconsciously.

"Artemis!" Blue exclaimed as she ran over to him. She then turned to X Rosie.

"Why would you ever do this?!" she shouted in anger. She then turned back to Artemis and put his head on her lap.

"There has to be a way to save you," she said softly to him.

"Anyone else dare challenges me?" X Rosie asked as she grabbed the scepter from X Elizabeth, "No? Very well then." She held the scepter and attempted to cast a spell at the others, but nothing was coming out of it.

"Why isn't this working?!" she snapped.

"Because that one's a decoy!" Percy shouted as he and Layla entered the scene, holding up the real scepter. X Rosie then used her knee to snap the decoy in two.

"Impossible!" she shouted furiously, "Who is responsible for this?!"

"What I'm more shocked about is that you so easily fooled by it," Elizabeth replied as Percy and Layla ran over to the rest of the group.

"Don't tell me you were the one responsible for this," X Rosie said, "Never mind. It's not important. What's more important is the new surprise I've got for you." She then pulled out a red SOUL and threw it forward, summoning Classic Rosie to appear in their presence once more. Rosie then opened her eyes to reveal her HATE infested body through the lack of white in her eyes.

"Rosie?" Emile asked, feeling a great sense of guilt, "Is that you?"

"It's still her, but her SOUL has been infected with HATE, meaning that she will attack you every so often." Rosie then summoned her Flame Sword and pointed it at Emile, causing him to tremble slightly.
