The return to school from an uneventful, yet relaxing and peaceful weekend felt a bit grim, yet expected. The feel for the bleak subjects and toned out walls made for a very blank and dull return.

No excitement soared from Monday, as usual. As boring as the name of the week suggested, nothing of mass importance or enjoyment came from watching after school practice and longing for the day to be over, just to find some alone time to counter your own thoughts.

The thoughts of wether or not Bokuto had been right, about taking the chance at Mixed Doubles, and running with it. No looking back or regretting required. You knew for definite that this was the choice to follow with. The thoughts only lingered for a few moments because of the the only triggering thought at hand.

Should you trust Suga with all the responsibility of being on your side? Being on your half of the battle to come with venturing forth in life? Venturing forth with the ongoing scenes beside you?

Becoming one with the motions of moving on and moving forward? The topic at hand still had a huge question mark over your head at the moment. The thoughts entwined even more.

The entanglement of the thoughts matched with the morning clouds, and how dazed and perplexed the sky seemed to be. The meteorologists were in cahoots with the ongoing war in the sky. The war for attention upon the sun and blazes of air puffs maneuvering along the fiery sun.

If only life felt the need to battle attention like the weather early on a school morning. As you lingered along the path of indecision, you embraced the hope for a bleak and plain Tuesday. Nothing of hellish or racking descent needed to be of bother today. You got up from your front porch, still overlooking the battle of the sky and started to walk to morning practice.

Or really, considering the time of morning, the pre-practice event that you and Daichi always decide upon. The pre-practice of embarking on a duo-like training session minutes before the team arrives. It had been a special moment only you both would share when the thrill of getting together minutes before the rest of the world could intrude.

As you walked the all too familiar path to school, the journey had been a bit more enjoyable than most. Daichi had said he'd be there earlier to set up in advance, so you could enjoy a bit more sleep. Except these days, extra sleep would be hours nonetheless minutes of difference.

He had texted you only 12 minutes ago saying he had just arrived. Those minutes, given less some days, would be more than enough to set up and even relax before you graced through the doors with a very noticeable, and pessimistic presence.

Than again, you were never too negative around Daichi. He had always known your faith and hope in the world, usually being blank or non-existing. He had brought out the best of you, or what others couldn't notice or seem to find.

The one part of you that you kept untouched or subtle; buried emotions in which arose with the sudden trigger of reality. Daichi protected that looming feeling with the knowledge of what sort of show that would emerge to be. He made sure that around him, you didn't have to hide how your really felt. You could be as painfully honest as you wanted to be.

He knew that being silent about your most vulnerable moments or the feeling of being silenced for being out or sorts was painful. He thought all too much of what happened when you were silent, the most concerning thoughts yet.

Even at times, he would quote you, in conversations in which would garner your most iconic yet relatable line:

"Silence is deadly. You think All you want is peace and quiet, until you imagine all the things left unsaid. Then you wonder how much pain it really is to keep the truth unheard."
