This is just great...I give effort in exchange for some punk looking captain to step in and take the credit.

Hell...I even made sure some ex of her's didn't destroy her the first chance he got.

And what am I getting? This shit attitude I know is fake. This isn't her. I don't have to be Daichi to know that.

For some reason, I seem to get all the reprimands from her, and she doesn't she'll any to anyone else.

It's like it was destined for me to enter, and get what she couldn't give everyone else.

Some form of cold shoulder that wasn't forced, but simply described one thing.

Disinterest.

I can't stand it.

When will you see...Y/N...

That I'm all for you? That I'm at one with you? That I'm here for you?

That....I care for you.

Sugawara wished he could carry his thoughts in more, stretching them thin until the most vulnerable ideas were laid stagnant on the table.

Though he thought it wouldn't get him anywhere. Him of all people knew that. Especially when it came to you.

He didn't think it would affect him this much, especially not after a detrimental first game like he had. The way you kept crossing his mind in intertwining paths he had no idea how to break. The multiple fashions in which you kept crossing his frontal lobe.

You were just there. No way to break it down even further. You existed in the deepest parts of his mind he never thought would ever be discovered.

He saw you when he tried to forget what you looked like, even for a simple second just to be clear of the day. He heard you when he tried to shut out all the sound, wanting nothing but the peace he pulled from silence. He felt your looming pessimism and distinct aura w he found something prominent to you.

It was only the day after the Johzenji game, yet everything started to crumble into the category that if it wasn't normal, it was a reminder of you.

It sounded off putting, rather weird. Sugawara knew that to his full knowledge. He found it rather frightening to know someone could have that much of an affect on people.

He tried to distract himself again, this time with something more relevant. He pulled out the schedule for the matches, and looked to the next matchup, being a rather intimidating conclusion.

Opponent was none other than the Miyagi pros themselves, Shiratorizawa. They had a fierce lineup of teams that tryout for Shiratorizawa representation. Only a select few survived the harsh criticisms and feedback.

The unholy part; it was a home game.

And the level of destruction was very prominent.

Sugawara's brain became even more scattered, wandering around about the potential outcomes, plays and motions.

Which lead back to you. He started to get rather frustrated at how he couldn't seem to put the idea of you to rest for a short moment. Things tangled, crossed and lead back to one distinctive thing after another.
