"Uhhhhh........" Katy stumbled, and glance up at something behind Ava. She twisted round to what it was and to her horror saw a small strip of clear plastic. And on the other side was the face she'd come to hate. He dad's.

She screamed, hoping another nurse would come to help, but then realised that this was all fake. None of this was a real hospital.....

As if on cue by Ava's thoughts the wall opposite came crashing down to reveal the sick stained wall of her home. One by one each wall fell, and Katy scampered off with the equipment, leaving Ava in a hospital bed with my dad. Great.

She tried to jump up but realised too late that her ankle was strapped to the bed with a metal band; she jerked it up and heard a crack as the bone was crushed against it. Desperately her sweaty hand fumbled with the bolt, while all the while her dad was advancing slowly towards her, a menacing grin on his face once more.

"Ah, Ava, Ava, Ava." He repeated Ava's name to himself, almost as if it was a foreign word and he didn't know what it meant. "I don't know why your mother chose the name." He mulled, almond talking to himself. "It's a horrible name. And all Ava's grow up to be, horrible."

Ava was sweating hard and desperately trying to untie herself from the bed. The blood on the side of her face was gone, it had been washed off, but her t-shirt was still soaked in it and sharp pains lace her rib cage with each movement.
