A/N: I underestimated how difficult it would be to write while reading the subtitles on the k-drama I'm watching, but I'm somehow managing '~'

Dream's POV:

"All done," I glanced down at my thigh, the small smiley looked identical to George's, which I've seen enough times to have it imprinted in my brain. I didn't like my thighs as much as I liked George's. My legs were muscular and had an annoying tan line on my mid-thigh from the skirts and dresses I wear. I shaved my legs, but I hadn't in a few days so they were prickly and annoying now. But George's, they were pale, and even though he wore sweat shorts literally every day of his life he never tanned or burned. And his legs had masculine and soft hair all over them, which for some reason was attractive. I can't explain why exactly body hair is attractive, it just is. And you can't deny it either, so don't lie to me and say body hair isn't attractive.

I smiled down at the new tattoo, it was just near the quote on my inner thigh.

'Pain is my muse'

If I'm being honest I don't remember when I got that one. Nick told me I was drunk and having some sort of emotional breakdown and he couldn't stop me. We were 15 and shouldn't have been drinking. We shouldn't have been at a sketchy tattoo shop either, but there we were, doing both of those things in one night. A lot of the time I remember how stupid I used to be. I wish I could slap myself for losing my innocence so early. It wasn't right. I shouldn't have gone through all that so early.

Heaven knows why Schlatt and Fundy took in two obviously drunk 15-year-olds and went ahead and gave them tattoos. I mean, isn't that like illegal or something? It probably is, but none of us ever said anything about it. God, we were so stupid.

I nearly laughed at myself, but George put his hand on my arm and smiled up at me happily. "It's cute," He said and rubbed his finger over the plastic on the new ink. I nodded. "Yeah, I think so too," I told him and looked up at his head. "Dye your hair blue." He frowned and looked down at the floor. "No, I've done enough to bring attention to myself," George replied in an awkward voice. "Isn't that more of a reason to forget who you're told to be?" He stared up at me. "In theory," I cocked an eyebrow. "Yeah? So why wouldn't you?" He ran his hands through his hair, "why would you put yourself in a situation that doesn't feel good in your head?" I scoffed. "Fair point. But isn't that just cowardly? If you're afraid to hurt then you won't ever inspire yourself, Georgie," he frowned. "I'm not dying my hair blue, Dream." I shrugged and messed up my hair, which Fundy just dyed an hour ago.

"Let's go, I want to take you somewhere," I laughed a little and stood up, paying Fundy quickly then waving while I left with George. He got in the driver's seat this time, taking my keys out of my back pocket, and started the car. "COME ON!" He shouted, so I laughed and shut the car door then worked on getting myself buckled.

"Where are we going?" I asked. It was already nearly 12 am, I was tired but alive. That feeling when your head is all heavy but your soul is begging to fly.

Eventually, the car pulled into a spot on the side of the road, I could hear the dirt and small rocks under the tires, which was oddly a comforting sound. It reminds me of the times I used to drive out with Nick to a spot in the middle of nowhere. It would take us an hour to get there so we'd leave in the middle of the night and sit under the moonlight and stare up at the stars. I would get back so early in the morning that the world seemed to not have moved at all since I left. I don't know, it was a silly thing but it felt so magical. I wonder why we don't do that anymore...

I stepped out of the car, immediately being hit with such a peaceful breeze it made my skin crawl. It was freezing, but calm. "Woah..." I muttered and looked up at the beautiful dots of glow coming from the sky. There was a large tree far out across the grass. I didn't even know it could be so pretty here, I just assumed it was filled with old buildings and dirt and stuff...nothing important or anything.

"Stars..." I muttered under my breath, thinking back to the nights I've had under the stars without expecting George to hear me. "No, they're lightning bugs," I shot him a look, obviously they were lightning bugs, I didn't actually think they were stars. I glanced back up at the vibrant bugs. We have them in the suburbs but nothing close to this. "Its...Woah," I said quietly and stepped onto the grass, George following me. "I used to come here with my dad before he started working in London again. After we moved here, and I started doing football games, we'd both get ice cream and pile up in the car, then come out here and watch the glitter bugs," George laughed a little. "He called them glitter bugs, can you see the resemblance?" I nodded while looking out at them, the bugs flying closer to the ground around us.

He jumped up to catch one, I was impressed by how high he could jump, so when he jumped to catch one again I grabbed him by the waist and pulled his body close to mine. "Your eyes," I mumbled, brushing his cheek just below his eyes. "What about them?" He asked and swatted my hand away. "They look like glass, shining against the sun," he blushed and smiled a little. "Thank you," I nodded. "You look happy," he told me and kissed my forehead. "Yeah? I think I am, you're here after all." He laughed and rolled his eyes. "That's the easy answer isn't it?" I scoffed and put him down on the grass again, which made him frown, so he pulled me in for a hug.

"Come here," he grabbed my wrist and started down the grass towards the middle of the field. When we got to a soft spot in the grass he laid down and looked up at the sky. I smiled and laid down on top of him, holding myself up with one of my elbows above his head. "Why hello there," I started and pressed my nose up against his gently. "Hi," he said back and smiled, then kissed me gently.

"I love you," I swear I heard under his breathe. "What?" I said in shock and stared into his eyes. I could tell he was blushing, even in the dark. "I love you, and don't be cringy about it," I smiled wide and kissed his cheek a few times. "I love you too," he laughed a little and pushed me off of him. "Idiot," he mumbled and turned to face me.

"Weirdo," I said back with a flustered laugh.

A/N: There were lightning bugs are my grandma's house so I love them a lot. Anyway, this chapter means more to me than I'd like to admit T~T.
