Amelia sighed as she took in her appearance in the mirror. It was so not her style. The red lipstick, the dark eyeshadow, the tight dress that hugged every single one of her curves. The only thing about her outfit that was her were the black heeled boots she's paired with it.
However, Celia insisted that they all go out for drinks tonight. It's been awhile since Amelia was able to hang out with Celia and her boyfriend, Justin, since starting her new job at the field office a few months ago. She had been working tirelessly day in and day out to work her reputation back to where it use to be before the Wilkins' case.
But tonight, she finally had the night off. So Celia declared they all go out for drinks and to have a good time. They, being Justin and her, and then Amelia and Colton. A double date of sorts.
Celia insisted that Amelia should get all dolled up for tonight since she never goes out or dresses up for herself, so she did her makeup boldly. Matching it with the red lipstick she had found in her makeup drawer she rarely uses. She wears makeup yes, but it's more of a natural or nude look most of the time. Light colors. Never anything dark or extravagant.
She had even curled her hair into slight waves and ran her fingers through it, giving it a more distressed, ruffled look. She was only really doing this to please Celia, knowing how she would never hear the end of this if she either decided to dress normally or cancel on her and insist they all stay in for a movie night.
"Babe," Colton knocked on the bathroom door, "You almost ready?" The door cracked open and Colton poked in his head in, freezing when he saw Amelia.
Amelia met his eyes in the mirror and smirked, "Yea, I'm just about ready." She leaned closer to the mirror and ruffled her hair a little more and checked her make up again. Even though she was completely ready, she felt like teasing him.
It was obvious by the way Coltons' eyes raked up and down her body and the way he was breathing deeper now, that she nailed the look for tonight.
"Everything okay there, Buzz?" Amelia asked innocently, leaning her palms on the counter and meeting his eyes once again in the mirror.
Coltons' eyes snapped up to hers, seeing the smirk on her lips and the playful look in her eyes. Inhaling deeply once, he pushed himself away from the door and walked up behind her.
"Everything," He placed his hands on her hips and pulled her body flush against his, "is just, fine." In between his words, he placed a soft kiss against the side of Amelias' neck.
Amelia hummed lightly, tilting her head to the side for him, "You sure? You're breathing is a little different now. You feeling okay?" She knew exactly what she was doing, and what it would lead to. And boy, did she want it.
"Well," Colton started, trailing kisses up the sweet spot on her neck, sucking lightly on the skin, "when I see my girlfriend dressed like a goddamn goddess in front of me, how do you expect me to react?"
Amelia smiled to herself, enjoying the way she was getting a rise out of him.
With the way work was at the moment, they don't have many opportunities to get together at night, if you understand. But when they do, they sure as hell don't waste it. Or whenever Amelia got too stressed with work, he would help her relax whenever he could in whatever way he could and vice versa. But sleeping together fully, it was a hit or miss situation.
So now they had a night off together, and it being clear that Amelia was getting a rise out of Colton, she intended on playing this out all night until they got home. That would definitely make things fun for afterwards.
